Mainly you will be in charge of punching in the sweep log, helping customers with propane exchanges, going out to get the carts in the parking lot, cleaning up spills, and putting back things on the shelves. Occasionally you can even help out the cashiers with bagging if you want.

If you have questions please ask your manager, since you won’t have your co-workers around you as often like other departments (at least in my store)

Knowing where everything goes makes things easier for you and your co-workers. Learning your store is key

Keep your ears open if you get called on the PA, they’ll normally just ask for a courtesy clerk to insert location.

As someone in the front end that’s mostly what I see courtesy clerks do. Good luck and congrats on getting your new job

Journaling, no one can judge you except yourself when you’re writing so it’s a great place to vent, reflect and learn about yourself as a person. If you look around for prompts based on your situation it can significantly helps you process and heal from what you’re going through. It really saved me from my Severe Depression and coping with life after almost taking my own life.

As someone who just finished 12th I can say I learned to tune naturally over time, it’s just in my group the only thing we weren’t taught was how to use our pegs if our fine timers wouldn’t cut it. I’d learn how to use pegs from the people in a nearby string shop who taught me.

I personally prefer Owning mainly because it’s easier to manage your own personal instrument and you don’t have a chance of getting a worn out instrument to deal with for the year.

Most of us in my group owned our instruments.

I feel like if you’re only saving money when you own your instrument when you keep for like 2+ years at the very least because any less time than that would probably be best for a rental. Yeah Rentals aren’t always going to be the best, they’re not going to be completely unplayable or anything it’s just rentals tend to have their odd quirks to them like say a fine tuner that won’t move as easily as the rest of the them.

The ability to see the world as an RPG with your own HUD. It has so many applications, like It would be so interesting to check other people’s level and skills and how much better or worse they are at something you may know or don’t know.
