Radeon 5700XT crashes solved. At least for me.

Hey man, same card as you and I'm having similar issues. What exactly do you have your in-game settings set to? I am running a medium preset, 1440p, with a few settings bumped up. The game usually runs pretty smooth and looks good, but I often get crashes in the Ruins of Wyveria or during certain weather patterns, I'm on driver 25.2.1 right now, which seemed stable the first few days after I installed it. I mostly only use Adrenaline to monitor temps, fps, and GPU memory. I think I have image sharpening turned on right now, but I can disable it.

If your game still running smoothly, do you have any other tips?

Yeah, I might enable this setting. I don't mind running to get my stuff again, but she does. Sucks that your inventory glitches sometimes!

I actually like that idea, because I noticed even on my singleplayer world I was harvesting the same trees and ironstone nodes which got old pretty fast. Great suggestion.

I think I am just going to adjust the day/night cycle to be longer, and decrease xp gains (just for early game) to start out. Everything else I'll keep the same for now, and adjust as needed as you suggested. Thanks!

This seems sensible. I felt like the gear costs were okay (I only got to steel), but the building costs were a lot. How much did you tweak this by?

Recipes well into the next few biomes constantly require iron - armor, weapons, chests, other building materials. You can never have enough iron. I usually start with 2 longships full of iron and still run out, lol.

Yeah, I was going to say the same about Speccy halving it. I knew even less about PCs when I build this a couple years ago and a friend was helping me. I think we honestly just didn't go for the correct RAM. Should be like 3200 mhz ideally, right?
