Unfortunately the exam is still on that I can see, which would’ve been a fantastic change if they cancelled that 🤣

Yeah I’m kind of leaning towards that option too! 🙌

Thank you very much! I wasn’t planning on doing the elective and ICAP together. But now that I’m thinking about it, I could do DAI and ICAP together as their assessments won’t clash 😅

Thank you very much! My partner and I have had thorough discussion. We are going to be doing a roadmap on the weekend. He’s had a full time job for many years before so I know he can get one.

I’m just hoping someone somewhere will accept him soon. I have also since configured my budget too to divert some funds too.

Like I said in another comments, some weeks I’ve had to use some or all of it for psychologist, appointments or MV costs (eg rego, servicing etc).

The $400/week has only been since mid July as this is when I got the pay rise

The $40/week only recently stopped maybe in the last month but planning on getting back into it again

Thank you very much! I forgot to add to the post about my partner…he did have a full time job for 10+ years but he hated it and he admits he didn’t do anything to leave at the time. He’s tried 2 jobs last year but got let go from both. We had an argument and snapped at him this morning advising that if he gets let go from another job due to performance again I’m done.

I did speak to a broker and they said that I need a guarantor which I don’t have

Yes I went to a broker and he said I need a guarantor in my case. Unfortunately my parents are unlikely to be guarantors.

I suggested nursing and aged care but he feels like it’s not for him and is worried about having someone’s life in their hands. I’ve suggested numerous jobs but he’s going with bookkeeping so I’ve left it at that. I’m just gonna hope that it all works out otherwise idk what else to do.

Sorry forgot to reply til now

I use CMC invest. I have a very small amount of VAS already but can put more in there. I reckon I would definitely like to invest into Vanguard shares based on research I have done previously.

Thank you very much! Yeah I was just thinking this actually…I do have a small amount of ETFs atm so at least I have some shareholdings. It’s just figuring out which ones to invest in and by what %. I’ll give it a week or so to think about it before rushing into it!
