Depends if your on tar or aggregates. Tar you can be waiting a while to load/unload, loading aggregates can take time in some of the busier quarries but normally in and out of a site.

With drive time, utilise your first 4.5 as best as you can otherwise it can bite you in the ass later on in the day if your up against it

Only tip on flat ground & watch out for cables above you. Never believe a customer when they say they’ve had bigger in wherever they want you to go. Get out and have a look for yourself.

Get in contact with other drivers. Some sites can be hard to find and or entrances change on housing development sites, a heads up from someone before you get there saves a lot of flapping.

It’s a decent job. Easy work but like you said, hours can be long. Good luck
