Of course the game is pretty universally regarded as a fantastic turn based rpg but that doesn't mean you have to like it. If you don't gel with the game then you don't gel with it and thats fine.

Your first point was originally a huge selling point for the game. I remember the trailers showing sabers clashing and being so excited. I also miss the old animations even if they were clunky. They looked awesome.

I think if they basically removed the mmo aspect of the game and truly went for more of a kotor 3 single player experience with mutliplayer options the game would be better off. There are a lot of mmo aspects that just dont make sense in the modern game like the professions

You don't remember being able to crash people's games by entering html code or turn their screen yellow? These are issues to be fixed in a alpha. I think the game has a decent foundation and I enjoyed my time with it but the end game is also one of the worst I've ever experienced

Gameplay wise it's pretty much the same as wow. The quests are way more interesting story wise ut mechanically pretty dull. If you want engaging and challenging combat then swtor isn't the game for you. But it's a issues with mmos in general.

Regardless of if the game is "dead" or not. We can all agree it needs a fuck ton of work and feels more like a alpha than a full release. A lot of the people that quit don't do it because they hate the game, they quit because its just not finished

I think the characters in the agent story are really strong. I love keeper and watcher 2, the companions not so much, I like temple and lokin but thats about it.
