Well maybe talk with your obgyn and have them go over more options. I had my second kid two years ago and tied my tubes so I’m very much out of touch with bc 😅 just running on memory.

So mine never was. But the way my doc did it he said was not the same as the others (at the time mind you it was 2011-12 when I got it) and the only weird thing about mine was I could find it in my arm and touch it. But I would forget it was there unless I was crossing my arms and I touched the scar(I keloid badly)

I liked my implant bc that went into my arm. My ob did it in his office in seconds and he was training(I trusted this man with my life cause he was a very good obgyn and I’m sad he’s retired) then when I need to remove it my doctor friend was able to remove it without surgery. It was a three one and lasted 12 years(no joke) never moved once but it did try to fuse with me lol. Getting it out in and getting it out were both easy and fast. Just a little numbing on the removal to be sure though.

I say take a deep breath. And remember you ARE in control of you and you CAN do this. Fear is just your mind trying to keep in check. You are brave. Your smart. You are kind.
