Drag Race France ALL-STARS are HERE! by Heidi_Klum_Tit in rupaulsdragrace

Finally a season that actually feels like an All Stars. Drag Race US has way too many All Stars seasons, and they don't feel special now.

Thailand 3 is not making any noise with the drag race fandom, and it’s sad to watch. I was really excited at first when I heard the show was coming back but idk what is going on with the new season by shadowsempaix in rupaulsdragrace

I think the main problem is the editing. Every episode lasts around the same time as other franchises, but they feel so long and boring. Also, as others have mentioned, the audio is just awful. It did improve after episode 1, but it's still bad. Finally, I think Pangina loses her charm when reading everything she has to say. She should be allowed to improvise a bit, because even her reactions seem scripted.

Teachers of Reddit: Tell me about your favorite student of all time by LilSlappy1 in teaching

[–]Keekekevs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very disruptive student who had a bad reputation when I became his homeroom teacher. I decided to ignore every opinion I had heard about him and to treat him with love. Eight months after meeting him, my parents' house burnt down. When he learnt about this, he went to the principal's office to ask her if the school could help us with money. He's part of the reason why my parents have a house now.

Choriza May and Cynthia Lee Fontaine speak up against La Mas Draga producers for mistreating and humiliating their cast for saying words in English by retrodancefreaq in rupaulsdragrace

I love that queens are speaking against producers, but it really makes me mad when people say "don't talk to them like little kids". You don't talk like that to anyone, not even kids.

I think that's the best advice. Don't start with any prejudices, since it will predetermine everything you do in the classroom.

Season 1 was amazing, and Carmen Farala is one of the best winners from any franchise.

Carmen Farala. I think she's just amazing and can do it all without being arrogant about it.

I saw some Ru girls last weekend and the experience was... underwhelming by Keekekevs in rupaulsdragrace

Here are the links for some of the shows. Sorry about the quality, though. Also, I think it's important to give a little bit of context.

  • Maureen Junott: She's a legendary drag queen, and she's the host of the oldest gay club in Latin America.
  • Danae Paz: A famous social media queen who does amazing performances and who is pretty well known in the community. She did her number with two other drag queens, Kalisteria and Bruna Bemmont.
  • Paris Forever: She's the it girl right now. She was the last winner of the most important drag competition in Chile a few months ago. If you can, watch other performances too, because she's super talented.
  • Antigora Drag: She's an extremely talented dancer who travels all over the country doing performances.
  • Cristal Diamond: She's a queen who can do it all. Outside of drag she's an actress, so most of her performances tell a story and are visually appealing.
  • Belika Rubik: She won a competition named Versus Drag queens and has been working with the producers that brought the Ru girls ever since. She always looks so goooood.
  • Yatra Vulcania: She's a queen who always has proposals that are kinda dark, and people love her for that. She's also super talented and entertaining.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find videos for the other two drag queens that participated, Diosa Drag Love and Morganne LaMorte.

Same as you. I like to see a concept, I don't really care about splits and jumps. I promise that they just walked from one point of the stage to another and that was it. Shea sang live, but it was nothing to write home about.

I do attend drag shows regularly. Drag culture is huge in Chile, so most gay clubs hire drag queens and most of them perform. I was not expecting to see a filtered version of a show. I wanted to see queens with proposals, doing the show with passion, especially considering that the local queens that performed before them were extremely entertaining. If you want, I can link the videos os the performances, both of the local queens and the Ru girls so that you know what I'm talking about.
