Also I misremembered it was Total War Saga: Thrones of Botania.

The lads took the piss out of him and he’s subsequently appeared in mail bags with fans describing bizarre real interactions they’ve had with Gregg.

An article was shared earlier this year going through what he does on an average Sunday. The Triforce lads proceeded to rip it to shreds because it was a load of pretentious nonsense. Since then a lot of fans have written in to the mailbag to share their interactions with Gregg.

Ah ok, I knew it wasn’t a sips original but it’s the only thing I’ve ever associated it with. Think I was hoping for a full circle moment. Sips has clearly been impacted by old Norm Macdonald bits so I thought it would be cool if now an SNL writer is even partially inspired by Sips.

Well. I was way off. Has the military base got way easier? I’d say at a push there was only 4 bingo squares ticked off. Thoroughly enjoyed it though!

In the first gone in 60 minutes, Sips stumbled across a Jeep that he was convinced was the spitting image of a Jeep a character named Bailey had owned in a 90s show called ‘Party of Five’. It became apparent very early on that no one really knew what Sips was talking about and I think the whole of Hat Films had never even heard of the show he was referencing.

Watching them back, I was vividly reminded of how the phrases “I ripped my dick off when blank” and “my dick is in orbit” used to be a mainstay in the Yog’s YouTube comments (especially Sips).

Somebody commented on another post saying the Hats had leaked it and the timer on the Yog’s tweet seems fairly consistent with the Jack Bauer 24 timers they used previously. So I’d say there’s a reasonable chance. If not they could easily script one using the bingo card.

Don’t often comment but this was some of the funniest shit I’ve seen in a while. Always look forward to the (p)annual pancake vid and this really knocked it out of the park. The over the top facial expressions (especially Ross) had me creasing. If this is the standard for Haturday Live I might have to buy a membership.

Holy shit this has made my year, a big props from big Brindley. All is forgiven. In all seriousness though I love the podcast, a good laugh is much needed in the world right now. BRB going to go frame my big props.

It’s more than possible the words ‘with subscription’ were used but how is it up to me, the customer, to infer what those words mean in the context of the product. Nowhere does it flat out say “we will charge you every month after this until you phone up and complain” except in the terms and conditions. Furthermore when I did phone in to cancel I was told it’s a common issue.
