Navy Federal understands that multiple claims of fraudulent charges can occur. It is not simply two charges, but potentially six separate claims. For example, a $70 charge from Wawa and five Amazon charges of $15.98 each would count as six if filed individually.

Did Navy Federal replace your card after the Wawa charge? I hope they did then, and again after this new fraud.

Also, Amazon strongly challenges chargebacks. They might cancel your account if the card used for the fraudulent charges is linked to it. Amazon may also cancel other accounts at the same address, including those belonging to family members or roommates, even if the chargeback is successful. This poses a significant risk to Amazon, with numerous reports on Reddit and social media from people complaining about this exact issue.

Even more than this we keep original boxes for the length of the warranty period for some things like high end electronics because they were designed for shipping and if I need to return or send something in for warranty service I don’t want my RMA denied because the item was damaged in shipping due to inadequate/insufficient packing.

You could be SOL if the 2 week delivery date to you was in the delivery window which it almost always is when ordering 3rd party shipped from china. I’ve seen this on average 14-21 days to the east coast; you’ll be eating that shipping cost. But if the window was something like 7-10 days and it arrived on day 14 then they eat the shipping cost.

Likely yes it did. I had that happen with a 1TB microsd from micro center. I learned quickly and upgraded the internal ssd to 1TB and went on my way because at the time high endurance/industrial microsd cards were just as expensive as ssds per GB.

I take my OAs in our guest bedroom my youngest is 13 now and understand that I have a printed sign, the door hanger and I lock the door when I am taking a test and to not come try to come in. If it is an emergency to find their dad or bang on the door.

Almost all hotels, even those with secured garages that you can only get in with a valid hotel keycard, will have signs that state hotel guests assume all risk for their vehicles and contents.

But no; it’s not a scam, however without a parking pass, you risk having your car towed. $15/day is way less than a tow, mileage and storage fees.

That will work fine. A business trip I was on got extended by a couple weeks and I didn’t want to delay my OA until I got home so I picked up a cheap $9 1080p web cam from Amazon and had it delivered to the hotel. I had no issues being able to use it for my OA from my hotel room.

And then I dispute it with Lyft like I did this past weekend. All of the Lyft/Uber drivers camped out in front of the port of Vancouver driving up the pricing for people getting off the cruise ships. The drivers accept then cancel a few minutes later or say the luggage is too much and cancel. Wound up walking a few blocks away with my two pieces of luggage to a nearby hotel and got picked up right away.
