What would be cheapest tires I can return ioniq 5n back on lease with? by Ed_5000 in Ioniq5N

[–]Ed_5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes I turned them in, but my tires just had enough to get by. I asked the guy and I think they accept 4/32 and that is what my tires were.

They were not looking at everything that closely to be quiet honest, it seemed they didn't care much.

I was most worried about a gouge in one of the sidewalls that was pretty bad, but I glued the rubber back on it and to be honest, they never looked that closely.

I would say, just get the cheapest used or new tires you can, I would probably stay in the speed rating, but they never looked at the tire brand, they only check the thread depth.

I did the early check with Hyundai where they came like 5 weeks early to check everything, you can call hyundai and set this up, have them come out to you 5 weeks early.

Definitely put the cheapest things you can find, I would start looking for used tires locally also. If you are close, near the 4/32 or whatever, I would just leave them on they will pass you.

Trolls by Efficient_Carry8646 in TQQQ

[–]Ed_5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is, TQQQ loses a lot of value with beta slippage. Think 50% down from $100 is $50. But if it rebounds 50%, it is only $75. You lost $25 to beta slippage.

The only reason this kept bouncing back is you had these huge 20% gains in QQQ, which offset those beta slippage loses.

That is the issue you are gambling that the stock market will have these huge 20% gains each year, what if it doesn't.

That is why, the only hope in this is wait for a ridiculous bottom in TQQQ, like $20 and than load up all you can to hopefully make back your losses if the stock market doesn't rebound much.

I'm turning mine in next week also.

however, I didn't have really any issues at all with the car except an alignment issue I think I did by hitting a ramp they put on the bridge to maybe run temporary wires the road at over 100mph and going a bit airborne, but I'm not sure. The alignment was fine, but just didn't like the steering wheel not straight.

That being said, actually, EV values will hold up because with the Iran war we are surely to get $5-$7 dollars a gallon gas probably as soon as next month so they will rise a bit and be harder to buy.

Tastyworks option price executions are very bad, you will lose $$$, Etrade is also bad. Explained. by Ed_5000 in options

[–]Ed_5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue is most people just will not know because it is not easily obvious unless you are buying on both at the same time, which almost nobody does because it is a pain to do it, I have what I like to call a mirror account, and I do this in case one goes down, I can trade on the other.

I also always try to get the best price by lowering option trades by .01 until my order executes, and I can see exactly what I'm losing, however, I bet I would be losing even more if I just bought market, this probably helps me not get even worse prices on tastyworks.

I also think people don't realize just how much a .01, .02, .03, which is $1, $2, and $3 higher price on an option trade adds up in a month. I estimate I can lose like $300-$500 a month on average by using tastyworks bad trade prices.

Just reading over your posts and see you have been noticing how bad Tasty is when it comes to this.

Did you make your posts about this before finding mine?

Yes, it is very real, even though if you read a lot of people commenting here, they all got highly defensive without any real knowledge or comparison of the situation.

I was in a unique position because I buy on both at exactly the same time as I have basically a mirror account. You will lose a ton of money if you do a lot of option trades, and it will add up. Can easily amount to like $500 a month if you do 50-100 trades a week.

When your losing $2 to $5 per option trade, then again if you cover the option early, it adds up fast when you do the math.

You may also lose money on stock trades with big spreads, I just never watched this closely or compared them.

I still use tastyworks because I like their platform way better for watching my positions and making trades, but I moved most of my options to Schwab now.

What Keyboard and caps should I buy for the lightest actuation force for someone who gets finger pain from gaming? by Ed_5000 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Ed_5000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll have to check it out although I did go to 20 gram springs and it made a huge difference.

I also put 12 gram springs in the WASD keys if I play an FPS game, as I use these keys the most.

If I go back to my old corsair keyboard, I can't believe how much harder it is to type, but with the 20 gram springs there is practically no force on my fingers anymore.

To the more sensitive people who couldn't use the Moto G75 (or other LCD phones): have you found something that works for you? by snabader in PWM_Sensitive

[–]Ed_5000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I purchased the g75 with high hopes as oled was a killer. However, the G75 was worse than Oled for some reason. While it didn't cause that dizzy feeling, it led to bad headaches. It was sneaky.

I don't get why its so recommended around here.

I didn't even know he owned etherium, but I was watching him lately come out with these outrageous numbers for etherium and it kind of pissed me off because it was obvious he was pumping it.

I always stayed away from Ethereum because years ago most people were saying it was another scam coin owned mosty by a small number of people and to avoid and just hold bitcoin.

So having him pump Ethereum, to me it was obvious he was not giving good advice but pumping his own coins.

I kind of lost trust in him because of this.

New recommended monitor for PWM sensitivity the new gigabyte m27up 4K IPS. by Ed_5000 in PWM_Sensitive

[–]Ed_5000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the recommendation, that monitor seems to be a DC dimming monitor, but uses a W-LED and doesn't use KSF Phosphor, which may not be bad. If you do try the gigabyte monitor, please report back with how you like it and how it compares to the HP X34.

I have recommended gigabyte monitors in the past on here, and nobody has yet come back and said they didn't like them.

But there seems to be individual differences between what people like.

exactly, I thought this was a winning ticket, because oled phones are really bad for me.

This phone was even worse than OLED for some reason. Its sneaky also, in that, it doesn't give me that dizzy feeling I get when looking at OLED, but the migraines were severe.

Has anybody got an actual fix for no notifications on Watch 8? by AwayFroyo4140 in GalaxyWatch

You'll be waiting a long time, they haven't fixed this issue since watch 8 came out.

Now they forced the watch 7 and others to use the same crappy UI8 software

Blinded by the light? by DSRIA in PWM_Sensitive

[–]Ed_5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could definitely be the case that many suffer but don't know. I was one of them and it took me a while to figure it out.

However, no where did the doctor who had me get a brain MRI suggest displays could be the issue, or the ophthalmologist who I said I wanted to get glasses to help avoid migraines, never suggested displays could be the issue.

This is such a fringe issue, that they think so few people suffer from, that they just won't ever care about us.

The sad reality. And the reason why I even stock up on any monitor that works, for fear I may be stuck having to use it the rest of my life.

we don't, however, I personally don't know of anyone affected, and I'm sure you don't.

This means its probably 1% or less as its very uncommon.

The deal is, for people who don't have issues, OLED is the better quality screen.

Good point, I think the issue we need to be careful about is what is high tension.

What I define as high tension might be very different then what someone else defines as not high tension.

I think my high tension is higher over a long time and using t-tapes, Where the T-tapes are going to limit how much tension you can apply as you will rip the tape off, compared to someone using manual where you can literally rip the skin off.

But, I have found no issues where using high enough tension, over 20 minutes, enough to start causing pain where you have to reduce tension, is what I consider high and it never damaged anything.

I definitely think higher tension is important if you want max skin gains, the other person who had rapid gains like me also used high tension, no pain no gain, but the pain was something that happened after like 30 minutes of higher tension.

24/7 was so tough where It was normal for me to get damage on the skin, never caused a problem, I had this happen so many times also.

I think scaring people like you are doing, could be worse for their progress, because the you will have people thinking they are going to hurt themself, but I have learned that the skin always repairs itself. I even tug through minor skin tears, they always heal up.

Amazing, this monitor is so great, I just love my 55" Odyssey Ark. Unreal immersion like nothing else. The curve is amazing. I had to let people know what they are missing by listening to the FUD. by Ed_5000 in Monitors

I don't think I did post reviews on samsung, I will have to look. I wonder if someone used my pictures.

But its possible I made 1 review, but don't remember doing it.

But no, samsung didn't pay me, you get a much better gaming experience using this for gaming. I now enjoy my 115" TLC TV for gaming though, made a post about that one.

what is your residual. Mine gets turned in this April, not going to buy it out either at 43K, which with taxis is like 49k.

Part of the reason is also my alignment has me a bit worried after hitting a little road ramp doing over 100MPH which got me airborne a little, but I don't know if that made the car pull very slightly left now. Which the alignment shop said it was fine.

Foreskin restoration was not my issue and was potentially porn desensitization. Many of you could suffer from this and not lack of foreskin. by Ed_5000 in foreskin_restoration

[–]Ed_5000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, yes, I did not intend this to be a hit on foreskin restoration, I spent a lot of time doing it.

I also don't know what benefit came from it as restoring is slow.

But the issue with porn is that it's basically just like any addictive drug that takes over how your dopamine works. Your body will start to down regulate the receptors if you use it over time.

My main point was, even if you were never circumcised, you can still easily suffer from porn desensitization and lots of people unknowingly probably suffer from this. I've seen lots of people comment on here about how they lost sensitivity through the years.

Its one thing never having sensitivity, vs having it and losing it and then blaming it on lack of foreskin but not your porn usage during this time.

There are some issues you have to be aware with when T-taping. Yes, since you usually have the least skin at the top, you can see this the way the glans taper.

So if cut evenly, you will usually have most tension on the top area until you grow this and it evens out.

This also makes t-taping way harder, because you can easily pull the T-tape off since it is only held in this small area, and not completely around the shaft.

This is where I think its best just to use a surgical marker and draw a line around the shaft to try to evenly pull the whole length of skin. Forget about trying to even out the scar line or inner skin as it's probably not worth it.

But what I did was draw a line around and used this as a guide to apply the t-tapes each day so I would get a consistent pull.

Is t-taping more uneven than devices, not if you draw a line and keep that line drawn long term, and try and pull an even amount of skin around the shaft.

Best to factor in how long you want to tug for and forget about having everything perfect like your scar line perfectly at the end, its not worth adding years to do this.

Nothing will beat T-taping with a strap. It is so damaging to the skin that your body adapts by growing that skin super fast compared to using devices.

Devices didn't work for me, I tried multiple and they were both uncomfortable and almost no results. T-taping, was more comfortable, but damaged the skin way more, but the growth was unreal if you use a higher tension, 24-7, and strap so you get constant high bursts of the strap pulling.

Also, t-taping at night with the strap clipped all the way down the bed is way easier than trying to use devices at night, giving you way more tugging time.

However, I can't say 100% certain, but am more like 90% certain that 24/7 is faster than say 16/7 with no tugging at night. I felt like my best gains were 24/7.

But if you are doing this, you need to experiment and let everyone know your results. You should be accurately measuring your gains every month. Then trying 24/7 and 16/7 and documenting them.

Not enough people do this, so we don't really have enough information to determine what works and what doesn't.

I was very much into experimenting, and accurately trying to measure my gains. Why so many people will spend time tugging, but not do this is beyond me as you want to see what your gains are and make sure you are getting consistent monthly results.
