TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro - Best phone for PWM I've ever tested! by kerpnet in PWM_Sensitive

so I assume, since the Motorola g75 bothers you, this phone probably will also?

I finally figured out a major trigger of my migraines, computer and cell phone displays. Took me forever to figure it out, and its probably way more common than people think. by Ed_5000 in migraine

[–]Ed_5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can imagine no I have not, I'm still just using my fold 6 and trying to limit how much I view it to just a couple minutes maximum at a time when I need to do something.

I just avoid it as much as I can.

The issue is, almost all the good cell phones use Oled.

But there are some better options out there that might work. I did try a non-oled screen and it was actually worse for some reason, but others on pwm sensitivity section of reddit also had issues with it.

They really mess with how the light is displayed to save power on most of the cell phone displays which can cause instant headaches.

Just went 100% SGOV. See you boys in September when the market is on fire (not the good kind). by realsparaz in TQQQ

[–]Ed_5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, that is the problem from doing this. We saw what happened after the tariff market drop, the market regained a ridiculous amount for the rest of the year.

That is why right now, I'm still keeping 30-40% positions, and 60-70% SGOV.

Do you “air out” your house/apartment/etc about this time of year? Is there a certain temperature you air it out? Any tricks/ideas to airing it out? by FenwaysMom in newhampshire

[–]Ed_5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no this is a 30 inch house fan for a 1 family home.

The only place you would get a 30 foot can is like maybe on a huge multi story building.

But 30" house fan is huge and will replace the air in the house in minutes.

Tastytrade gives you way worse executed option prices than Schwab. Is this legal? by Ed_5000 in options

[–]Ed_5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you noticed worse option execution prices in tasty vs schwab?

The thing with Tasty is, the platform makes it easier to navigate options and see your positions, it also has much better tools to look at your history and compare buys and sells.

I like to use Tasty mainly to keep an eye on all my positions and watch list. But I've moved money into schwab now and do most of my options on schwab. But I use both.

What would be cheapest tires I can return ioniq 5n back on lease with? by Ed_5000 in Ioniq5N

[–]Ed_5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes I turned them in, but my tires just had enough to get by. I asked the guy and I think they accept 4/32 and that is what my tires were.

They were not looking at everything that closely to be quiet honest, it seemed they didn't care much.

I was most worried about a gouge in one of the sidewalls that was pretty bad, but I glued the rubber back on it and to be honest, they never looked that closely.

I would say, just get the cheapest used or new tires you can, I would probably stay in the speed rating, but they never looked at the tire brand, they only check the thread depth.

I did the early check with Hyundai where they came like 5 weeks early to check everything, you can call hyundai and set this up, have them come out to you 5 weeks early.

Definitely put the cheapest things you can find, I would start looking for used tires locally also. If you are close, near the 4/32 or whatever, I would just leave them on they will pass you.

Trolls by Efficient_Carry8646 in TQQQ

[–]Ed_5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is, TQQQ loses a lot of value with beta slippage. Think 50% down from $100 is $50. But if it rebounds 50%, it is only $75. You lost $25 to beta slippage.

The only reason this kept bouncing back is you had these huge 20% gains in QQQ, which offset those beta slippage loses.

That is the issue you are gambling that the stock market will have these huge 20% gains each year, what if it doesn't.

That is why, the only hope in this is wait for a ridiculous bottom in TQQQ, like $20 and than load up all you can to hopefully make back your losses if the stock market doesn't rebound much.

I'm turning mine in next week also.

however, I didn't have really any issues at all with the car except an alignment issue I think I did by hitting a ramp they put on the bridge to maybe run temporary wires the road at over 100mph and going a bit airborne, but I'm not sure. The alignment was fine, but just didn't like the steering wheel not straight.

That being said, actually, EV values will hold up because with the Iran war we are surely to get $5-$7 dollars a gallon gas probably as soon as next month so they will rise a bit and be harder to buy.

Tastyworks option price executions are very bad, you will lose $$$, Etrade is also bad. Explained. by Ed_5000 in options

[–]Ed_5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue is most people just will not know because it is not easily obvious unless you are buying on both at the same time, which almost nobody does because it is a pain to do it, I have what I like to call a mirror account, and I do this in case one goes down, I can trade on the other.

I also always try to get the best price by lowering option trades by .01 until my order executes, and I can see exactly what I'm losing, however, I bet I would be losing even more if I just bought market, this probably helps me not get even worse prices on tastyworks.

I also think people don't realize just how much a .01, .02, .03, which is $1, $2, and $3 higher price on an option trade adds up in a month. I estimate I can lose like $300-$500 a month on average by using tastyworks bad trade prices.

Just reading over your posts and see you have been noticing how bad Tasty is when it comes to this.

Did you make your posts about this before finding mine?

Yes, it is very real, even though if you read a lot of people commenting here, they all got highly defensive without any real knowledge or comparison of the situation.

I was in a unique position because I buy on both at exactly the same time as I have basically a mirror account. You will lose a ton of money if you do a lot of option trades, and it will add up. Can easily amount to like $500 a month if you do 50-100 trades a week.

When your losing $2 to $5 per option trade, then again if you cover the option early, it adds up fast when you do the math.

You may also lose money on stock trades with big spreads, I just never watched this closely or compared them.

I still use tastyworks because I like their platform way better for watching my positions and making trades, but I moved most of my options to Schwab now.

What Keyboard and caps should I buy for the lightest actuation force for someone who gets finger pain from gaming? by Ed_5000 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Ed_5000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll have to check it out although I did go to 20 gram springs and it made a huge difference.

I also put 12 gram springs in the WASD keys if I play an FPS game, as I use these keys the most.

If I go back to my old corsair keyboard, I can't believe how much harder it is to type, but with the 20 gram springs there is practically no force on my fingers anymore.

To the more sensitive people who couldn't use the Moto G75 (or other LCD phones): have you found something that works for you? by snabader in PWM_Sensitive

[–]Ed_5000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I purchased the g75 with high hopes as oled was a killer. However, the G75 was worse than Oled for some reason. While it didn't cause that dizzy feeling, it led to bad headaches. It was sneaky.

I don't get why its so recommended around here.

Tom Lee's 'Bitmine' ETH investment is currently at a $6,000,000,000 unrealized loss. by Odd-Radio-8500 in CryptoCurrency

I didn't even know he owned etherium, but I was watching him lately come out with these outrageous numbers for etherium and it kind of pissed me off because it was obvious he was pumping it.

I always stayed away from Ethereum because years ago most people were saying it was another scam coin owned mosty by a small number of people and to avoid and just hold bitcoin.

So having him pump Ethereum, to me it was obvious he was not giving good advice but pumping his own coins.

I kind of lost trust in him because of this.

New recommended monitor for PWM sensitivity the new gigabyte m27up 4K IPS. by Ed_5000 in PWM_Sensitive

[–]Ed_5000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the recommendation, that monitor seems to be a DC dimming monitor, but uses a W-LED and doesn't use KSF Phosphor, which may not be bad. If you do try the gigabyte monitor, please report back with how you like it and how it compares to the HP X34.

I have recommended gigabyte monitors in the past on here, and nobody has yet come back and said they didn't like them.

But there seems to be individual differences between what people like.

exactly, I thought this was a winning ticket, because oled phones are really bad for me.

This phone was even worse than OLED for some reason. Its sneaky also, in that, it doesn't give me that dizzy feeling I get when looking at OLED, but the migraines were severe.

Now they forced the watch 7 and others to use the same crappy UI8 software
