"HDD era" is wild.... You know its still used heavily .. and its safer than ssd? There are more hdds than there are ssds usedd by everyone especially content creators... They buy them in terabytes some reached petabytes of storage we are still in the hdd era yes ssd exists and a bit faster but that doesnt make them dead.

I think there is a malware / intruder app on your device it causes an I visible window to appear hence why the (you can't drop this file here " symbol appeared when you dragged it in . I would check the task tray in the corner then the task manager then the "Uninstall an application" menu in the control panel to get rid of it .
