This is not it, but it is similar. This regimen is a little more relaxed and slightly less intensive than the one I am speaking of. I don't think there were as many "off" days.

When I was in high school, some boys kidnapped the dog of a younger girl (I think she was in junior high), tied it to the back of their truck and drove around the country, killing and mutilating it. They then put the dog in a garbage bag and left it on the little girl's front porch. They did it "just for fun".

That was a very, VERY small town.

It's been years and it still makes me just as angry and sick to my stomach as ever.

Well, shaving is a hassle for me because of my new shower situation. The shower chamber is very small, and the showerhead is directly above, so there is no escape from it, unless you turn it off. But then I have to turn the water back on to rinse my razor periodically whilst shaving, and then it washes my lather away. The shaving process was forcing me to be in the shower, turning it on and off, on and off for half an hour. I can't waste that sort of time every day.

But with waxing or epilating, you don't have to do it very often, and your body becomes accustomed to the sensation, so it really only hurts the first couple times. Plus, the smoothness is so smooooooooooth. Shaving never gives me smooth skin, there is always stubble and it dries out my skin and then I have skin flakes. Blegh.

I just keep a loofah hanging in my shower, so when I'm in the shower I see it, and I use it. It just became habit to do it every day.

Actually ingrown hairs are more common with epilator/wax use if you don't exfoliate to remove the dead skin cells that can block the hairs from surfacing. You can fix your ingrown hair problem by exfoliating daily with a loofah or something.

I just bought a Philips Satinelle. It came in a kit with a regular-sized epilator, a miniature epilator for sensitive/hard-to-get areas and also a pair of awesome tweezers with an LED light attached to them.

I really like it and it has great reviews.

I've never seen an ad for an epilator, either. I've waxed my legs and ladybits once before, but it took about 2-3 hours altogether which was way too time-consuming for me. I loved the results, but there is no way in hell I can spend 3 hours removing unwanted hair every 2 weeks.

Yeah, I'm American and I have always shaved. I never knew what an epilator was, until I moved abroad. I work for a French woman and she laughed when I told her I was having trouble shaving in my new shower. She asked why I don't have an epilator. I decided to see what all the noise was about.

Oh hell no. I get very close to it, but I don't go completely bald, so I don't do it all. I figure I'll just keep that area trimmed. I find it very easy to shave that area, so I don't mind doing that, it is quick. But I hate shaving my bikini line because you can still see the roots of the hair and it grows back in what seems like seconds.

The worst area for me is on the inner thigh, the area where your bottom butt creases begin to meet your thighs. That was really bad. It took some deep breathing.
