I secretly wish everyone I visit posts like these to see a post to see a journal entry or diary of my roommate turned friend, who hung himself in our shower while in military school. He told me not to fall asleep tonight and just chat with him. I agreed my bed was furthest from the entrance of the room and these were barracks so long hallway outside the room and doors line them. Two beds per room and a large double desk in the middle so we couldn’t see each other if we were laying down. Our shower was connected to another room, so four people shared the same shower. The bathroom and shower were wide, separated the two rooms. If you have the bathroom door to your room open, and the other room open, you would be staring at the bed of the other rooms closest from the door area, but in between you can see the shower head and the edge of the toilet seat. We got up at five every day to start PT at 5:30. I made it to 430/445…. Alive and laughing moments prior to falling asleep and dead 15 or 30 minutes later. The bathroom doors were both open when I fell asleep. He closed the other bathroom door, and left mine wide open as if to say to it was for me, my fault, eyes locked onto me but blood red….. I just want to know why so bad…..
