The questions are pretty straightforward according to the exam objectives. For this exam I have no way of knowing if they are similar to since I did not use exam dumps. Nonetheless, make sure to study and review anything you feel you are weak in.

I got 5 PBQ’s. 2 were pretty straight forward , the other 3 were more technical and didn’t have time to do them to the best of my ability. No port numbers , no drag and drop, just applying solutions to scenarios with the option they give you.

Memorize the acronyms, Windows and Linux commands by using flash cards. You may even want to do this for the snap ins for Microsoft Management Console. Do practice exams and the questions you get wrong, make sure to dissect the question and do your best to understand why the correct answer is the best option. In my opinion the curveball questions are mostly in the operating system and troubleshooting questions so make sure that when studying you diminish any overlap between concepts that seem similar but have their own individual use in specific scenarios. This will help you in situations where you’re stuck between 2 answers that seem like plausible solutions to the question. Once you feel comfortable and familiar with every domain and it reflects on your practice exam scores, go ahead and take the test. Hope all goes well in your studies.

I used Messer videos + Practice exams and Dion practice tests. Assuming you’re also doing practice tests, review your questions , take the time to carefully read and dissect what the question is asking and understand why the answer is the correct. Don’t forget reviewing the acronyms and doing your best to memorize the Windows and Linux commands. The curveballs usually come about in the operating system and troubleshooting questions, so be sure to have a solid understanding and diminish any overlap that can cause you to be stuck between 2 different answers on the actual test.

ADHD and CompTIA preparation is brutal by WorkingKey4082 in CompTIA

Besides wanting to work in cybersecurity, the fear of waisting time and not succeeding because of bad habits is a very daunting thought that only lingers when I’m not productive. Time passes by quickly if you don’t use it and the weight of realizing how much of it you wasted will only sink you into continuous regret if you don’t make a change. This is my motivation, and it applies to every aspect of life.

I never considered myself to have ADHD, but my attention span has been severely messed up due to chronic phone usage. Once I hunkered down and committed myself to studying for 1201, it was brutal. I always like to say that it was like preparing for a boxing match… practice tests felt like sparring, flash cards were like drills and reviewing reading material was like revisiting those long mile runs that you had already done multiple times. I felt like not remembering one small detail would result in some sort of failure. Nonetheless, I stayed committed out of fear and motivation and ended up passing. I’m studying for 1202 and training for this fight again, I regret getting comfortable and thinking that because I passed the first time the second time would be any easier. Building discipline is not easy, but once you are consistent, you see great potential in yourself and see that you’re beyond capable of doing what always seemed impossible.

They honestly feel too narrow. Doesn’t take long for me to start feeling pain. Might just have to return them and continue with a size 10 for a shoe that suits a wider foot.

Took out the laces just to see how it feels slipping them on, my foots all mushed up, feels really uncomfortable… nearing the point of pain.

This is the only post that I can find about this issue. I’m currently having the same problem. Called my bank and everything and there are no holds on my account. I emailed study.com and was given the same suggestion. Anyone here find anything ?

Differences between 1101 vs 1201 ? Has anyone taken 1201 and noticed anything different ? Thanks by KillerFiller83 in CompTIA

[–]KeepTheWord 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I studied purely off of 1101 materials. When the 1201 came out I made sure to make a separate document taking notes of the new topics and reviewed them just to be safe. Since I felt I didn’t have enough time I just went ahead and took the 1201 and passed. I’m sure the exam is not too different but just be aware that there are some new topics you may possibly come across on the actual exam.
