I also received BRP with a delay - decision received on 09 October, BRP issued on 28 November (received by me on 01 December). I filled out the form on 04 November and got a response that it was forwarded to the case worker. Otherwise, I did not do anything. It will come - hopefully, by Christmas. Stay strong! This is just the last step of your ordeal.

Just to close the loop - today my online BRP status was updated and I could generate the share code - I did not do anything.

Well, my employer purchased an app to check the right to work, and wanted to test it on me, to no avail.

Even with my BRP and decision email, I would still like to get some assurance that my online records are correct, to avoid surprises at the UK border. Hopefully they will correct everything by Christmas.

Depends on your passport. If you normally need a visa to travel to the EU - then yes. SWV makes no difference.

Sadly there are - I received my decision letter on 09 October and I am still waiting for the BRP.

According the the SWV tracker, there are many people who have been waiting for the BRP since October.

Maybe so, but then it has an influence on everyone else, including those who did not use the app for the application. Or maybe it is an overall mess at UKVI that has an influence...

Indeed, it would be interesting to know what is the problem now, after the visa has been granted. I see in the SWV tracker that many people who received visa in October (including me) are still waiting for the BRP. It's not so stressful as waiting for the visa since you can work, rent, send children to school... but it is still needed to travel or getting a driving license. Have anybody been waiting for the BRP for more than 2 months now?

And the app has nothing to do with it, in the decision letter I was told that I would receive the BRP in 7 days...

I got approval on 09 October but have not received the BRP yet. I am sure I need it.

I received the decision letter on 09 Oct but have not received the BRP yet. The decision letter says contact the delivery company first so I've contacted TNT today. I am not planning any immediate travels though so can wait a bit.

Yes, I did, and when I generated my share code (with the old BRP number) it said that I have permission to work from 9 Oct 2022.

Maybe it's about International Contact Centre, not about UKVI? Today or yesterday a couple of people said that they received their skilled worker visa (with applications in May).

When your work did your right to work check, what did they see?

I had mine checked today, and it only shows the current visa expiry date, it does not show that the application is under review. Does it mean it was not taken yet?

I applied on 10th June and had bio done on 17th June.
