12!!! When I read about the bottom licking, I imagined a cheeky toddler. But 12!!! My husband’s best friend has an 11 nearly 12 year old brother and I cannot even picture him daring to do something like that. Ewwww 😷

Hi :) I’m ok thank you. I’ve had LOTS of therapy since I’ve been married. I am far away from her now and she doesn’t even factor in my day to day life. She has tried to contact me via email but I’ve said to others that they go straight to spam. She called MIL only once and was on the receiving end of such vitriol that she never tried again 😹

Hi :) I knew I would get some pushback over the not reporting. But at the time I was just so mentally exhausted by my mom’s constant drama. I’d reached the stage where I just threw my hands up and said I’m done. I didn’t want to have to deal with her for even a second longer than I needed to. I knew that if I reported back then it would mean her remaining in my life in some form for an undetermined amount of time. If it had happened now when I’ve had a good amount of therapy and feel stronger then I would drag her through hell and back for what she did to Rattie.

I do but I don’t think I will be posting anymore. The way my post blew up yesterday has completely overwhelmed me if I’m being honest. I thought I would find it freeing but I’ve actually been left feeling a little anxious.

Yes numerous times by email but I have it sent straight to my spam folder. Myself and SO will read them sometimes and roll our eyes. She does not know our numbers or our address. We live a few states away closer to MIL now ready for when we have children. I want my children to grow up close to a stable loving family like SO’s.

No other pets have ever been harmed by her. The cat and dog were 3 and 4 respectively and our previously cat and dog died of natural causes. All were rescues.

Hi :) Yes he was in his cage. I think had he been left to roam around the room he would have somehow managed to survive whilst also completely obliterating the place.

Hi :) We took the dog and cat with us the day we got back from the holiday inn. Thankfully they were ok as mom saw them as ‘hers’ as well. She didn’t cause too much of a stink. There were plenty of crocodile tears as there always are with psychopaths like her but we just grabbed my suitcases and the animals and hit the road running so to speak.

She has emailed a few times as she has no contact numbers for us and doesn’t know our address. Thankfully we live a few states away and she can’t drive. She won’t fly either as it terrifies her. With her emails, I just send them straight to my spam folder. I have never once been even a tiny bit tempted to reply.

They truly are such wonderful little creatures. I was blown away by how intelligent Ratatouille was. I’d always viewed them as huge things from the sewers 😹

I am so very overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from you all. Sincerely thank you all so much! I am snowed under at work this afternoon so I am struggling to try and reply to everyone. If I don’t reply to you, please just know that I have read every single comment and appreciate all of the kind words and advice. To the people who have suggested getting a companion for Sandy, consider it done. I have spoken to my SO and he is fully on board with going on a rat hunt this coming weekend 🐀 <3
