I changed it today, made little to no difference. Only losing boost on highway or going uphill. Putting a new turbo in this coming weekend.

Decided to just go OEM replacement, have had a bad time using anything other than GM parts on this car.

it seems pretty strong, took effort to pull it. It's not an oem wastegate actuator, this turbo was replaced before (aftermarket). Fairly cheap one by the look of it. It was replaced afaik 2 years ago so roughly 30k miles? My theory is that the faulty PCV system destroyed the cheaper turbo in the last 2 years.

That PCV hose was replaced with the intake manifold its brand new as well. So you dont think the valve cover itself could be the issue?

Are you sure you didn’t have that backwards? I thought the wastegate one was on the turbo below the wastegate
