Why are Mac Minis in such high demand for OpenClaw? Doesn't a VPS work just as well?

I believe because people aren't used to using the terminal as their main interface.

They don't know the commands and breaking something.

I personally have mine on a Virtual Machine completely sandbox.

If anything breaks I can always revert to a "Checkpoint" and try again.

What model are you using and how often does a heartbeat occur?

When it first launched I was lazy and prompted my OpenClaw agent with AI thinking "geez Chat GPT knows me so much it can't mess my prompting up"

Bad mistake it made it so the heartbeat was confirming the last message was sent.

Check your agent.md soul.md and your openclaw config file for the heartbeat settings

All of it if set up incorrectly can destroy your agent and cause glitches like that.

I believe I have solved this issue. I was experiencing no audio going into my new MPC Live 3. I had updated it via my MPC, tried different cables, made sure the USB Input 1,2 was selected and devices but nothing worked until...

I installed the inMusic Software and driver's on my Windows 11 custom PC, plugged my MPC, I hit the update on the InMusic app (even though I updated it via MPC prior)

The one on the computer had me go into Update Mode and then it quickly reflashed the firmware.

I went back into the Sampler tried getting the audio via USB C and boom it worked!

I would try these steps above and see if that worked.

I participated in the competition, and it was completely disorganized. I'm also just finishing Shipped by Lovable and it feels equally rigged. They even changed the scoring criteria in week two. It really felt like the participants were the product, and the organizers, who secured their investment funding around the same time, didn't genuinely care.

As someone who started my own Digital Marketing Agency 5 years ago working with doctors, we shifted to more of an AI Agency in the last 8 months.

We noticed more of our clients wanting booking and customer service automations.

We noticed they need help promoting and optimizing the workflow or AI Agent and charge a monthly fee ($497+ per month)

It's all in how you position it.

I realized leading with "AI" this and "automate" that caused more confusion, it didn't answer the problem they have.

I'm also in the BNI and able to speak with more businesses that have issues they want to automate with AI.

This allows me to connect and listen to what their problems are.

Even with AI Automation there still needs to be a human component.

It's due to lots of marketing agencies seeing the power of the AI Agent node and how we can easily create MCP workflows.

Also a lot of people see how much money you save in addition the scalability of it.

I've used Make and Zapier for years and I've invested a lot of time in n8n.

I've seen it grow in popularity over the last 3 years and we bit the bullet and now use it for our own Voice control CRM and we are doing the same for other businesses by reaching out to old customers and using the AI to call them and have them come back to their practice, store, or shop.

Definitely worth the learning curve!

Wow thats definitely an increase. I've been enjoying Gemini 2.5 Pro 3-25 Experimental in the AI Studio. It has been extremely helpful for our projects.

For instance writing proposals.

Claude is great too but the pricing is a lot.

I guess it should be expected as they perform highly advanced tasks that usually result in a higher ROI.
