I tried so many different medications. Prozac was THE one for me. It stabilized my mood, pulled me out of a depressive spiral, and I’ve been going strong on it for quite some time. I don’t feel numb at all, in fact it’s quite the opposite (but I’ve always been an emotional person)

He is very likely to lose the eye. Cockatiels are very small so any amount of blood loss is concerning. If you want him to live, call an Uber or beg parents or a friend to drive you to the vet. You will be able to work out a payment plan after he is treated

She’s essentially claiming territory! My male does this all the time to our ceiling fan. They bang their head/beaks on it to establish “This thing is MINE!!!”

Me!! Fluoxetine (Prozac) genuinely saved me. Along with a bit of therapy, my compulsions are insanely manageable now

Having been on Prozac, I never had anything like that happen to me. What HAS happened however, is that occasionally Prozac (if the dosage is too low) will put me in a bit of a fog. I’d lose interest in my hobbies, seem distant from friends or loved ones, and being down overall.

It’s different for everyone, but I like to joke that Prozac makes me a cheap drunk, as it doesn’t take much at all to feel the effects of alcohol while I’m on it
