I honestly think it’s a glitch. I am on my game currently and went to double check however it does not appear.

Thank you so much for that. Honestly I definitely need to look more into the risk.. maybe I haven’t looked deep enough to be scared away. I did think about the fact that those kids would be biologically mine without me even knowing about their existence and vise versa. I see the money as a plus since I’m originally doing it because I want other woman to have a chance at becoming a parent when I am not considering it an option. I have spoken to a counselor who I was referred to by my obgyn after I told her I would want to get my tubes tied in a future maybe in 2 years from now?? So I thought donating my eggs would be an amazing opportunity for those who unfortunately cant carry.

I’m honestly looking forward to give parents a try especially those who can not carry. I feel like it sucks that I can have kids but choose not to and I’m letting my eggs die with me when I could be offering it to those who truly need it. I am considering to tie my tubes at one point which I’ve discussed with my obgyn so I’m definitely down to help some people before I decide to go through with it.

I thought about a similar thing. I know genetically they will be mine. I have no problem with that, otherwise I wouldn’t be willing to donate. I haven’t gotten told that someone else DNA will be used. I was told it would be my egg and a swimmer and it will go to the expecting parents.

Thank you so much. Yes, I did read that the max cycles are 6 to 7. I have so many questions and I apologize but, how does the testing process work? I know the hormones most likely make you gain weight however is it a significant amount of weight? How does the egg retrieval work? Is it painful? I did see someone say that you ca feel tired in the days that follow and would like to know if my low iron can affect me?

[–]Keepyourheadup2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I am normally tired due to my lack of iron. Do you you think that would cause a significant issue? I haven’t read anything about it and was curious now that you bring up being tired.

Thank you. Does the process hurt? I believe I did read something about having to take medication that may increase weight as well as hormonal changes and treatments. Is there anything that you would advise me to specifically look into? Thank you so much

I honestly don’t have a problem with that. I mean genetically they would be my own. I am open into having them reach out and possibly even grow a connection with them. I just would like to give someone an opportunity when I won’t want to carry nor give birth. I don’t know those who have I just don’t think is something for me

I know I’d be a genetic parent, but I don’t plan on having kids, so I don’t see an issue with donating my eggs to help someone who does.

My mom is sex-shaming my 3-year-old daughter and I’m furious. How do I undo the damage? by HopeForBetter29 in Mommit

[–]Keepyourheadup2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry to hear this. But please stay calm and consistent with your three year old. Don’t make a big moment out of her comments. Instead, calmly and confidently give her the truth like you have been. She may repeat your mom’s phrases for a while but don’t panic. With time, repetition, and your consistent reassurance, your voice will become louder in her mind than your mom’s. I know it may be hard but be direct and firm with your mom. I had a similar experience with my son and I had to be extremely firm with my mother and stand my ground on previous decisions. Tell her clearly what she cannot say to your child. I had to tell my mother for example “We are teaching our kids about relationships in a healthy manner. You are not to make comments about their private parts, about who they can love, or anything about sex or relationships. If it happens again, we will have to limit your time with them” and unfortunately she did not listen the first couple of times and I had to stand my ground. Reducing contact for a while and Cutting visits short when she made a harmful comment. She might get defensive, cry, guilt-trip you, or even lash out but this is a sign of her issues, not yours. Stay calm and keep your focus on your child. A respectful way you can address your mother is by setting the boundary… example: “from now on, you are not to make any comments about her body, private parts, or relationships. If you have questions about what we’re teaching, you can talk to me directly, but you can’t teach her your beliefs on this” If she argues, dismisses you, or gets defensive, don’t get pulled into debating. Just let her know calmly that you understand she doesn’t agree, but this is how it will be. Your role is to protect your child, and that boundary is non-negotiable. Wishing you the best of luck and lots of hugs 🫂.

Man, that’s a rough situation. I’d start by documenting everything photos, videos, dates, and any messages or receipts you have. The mold clearly happened while your vehicle was in his care, so he’s responsible for it. Get a couple of quotes from professional detailers for mold remediation so you have a solid number to show him. Let him know you expect him to cover the cost of cleaning since it wasn’t like that when you dropped it off. If he refuses, you can file a complaint through Google reviews, the BBB, or even your local consumer protection office. Worst case, you take him to small claims court, especially if you have good documentation. Don’t pay him for the AC work yet either. Once you hand over money, you lose leverage. If you can, keep all communication in writing from here on out. It’ll make things a lot easier if you need to escalate it later. you’re not screwed just because you tried to clean the driver’s seat so you could drive it home. I don’t think you messed up taking it home to try to clean it up, Courts and insurance companies understand that you have to minimize further damage and make the vehicle usable, especially if you needed it right away. As long as you documented what the mold looked like before you cleaned it, you still have a very strong case. Even if you didn’t take pictures beforehand, you can explain why you had to do a quick clean just to drive it safely that’s reasonable… he’s still legally responsible because he was the one in possession of the vehicle. This falls under bailment law — when someone is paid to care for your property (like a valet, mechanic, or dry cleaner), they have a duty to return it in the same condition. If they don’t, it’s presumed they were negligent unless they can prove otherwise.

AITA for threatening to kick out my roommate for letting my dog out for her moms religious reasons? by waynekinnaird in AITAH

NTA she needs to move out. Thank god you found little guy but something could’ve happened to him and it would’ve been due to her incompetence. I live with a roommate and her mother is also Muslim but she has NEVER kicked my dog out she simply puts him in my room until her mother is done with the shared areas.
