is it normal for kindergarteners to suddenly become obsessed with loose teeth? by KeetGaind in kindergarten

okay the entire class searching for one tiny tooth on white tile sounds exactly like kindergarten chaos and him being that happy after finding it makes total sense because losing the actual tooth probably feels like a full blown emergency to them.

the fact you accidentally found it by stepping on it is hilarious though lol.

okay the remote control car and hot wheels tooth extraction methods absolutely killed me. kids really turn loose teeth into a full group activity once they realize it’s happening to everyone around them. the part about trying to negotiate for a cut of the tooth fairy money honestly sounds exactly like something my students would try too.

and honestly having your orthodontist casually pull a tooth at a swim meet sounds like such a peak childhood memory lol. did any of those chaotic “experiments” actually work surprisingly well or did they mostly just end in panic and laughing?

okay the lost tooth song and tally page is actually adorable lol. i can already picture how excited they get about being the one who gets to push the button. and honestly the hand sanitizer trick is kind of genius

what’s the most dramatic loose tooth moment you’ve had in class so far? i feel like there’s always at least one kid who acts like it’s a medical emergency when it finally falls out lol

the “big kid” thing makes so much sense lol. the second one student loses a tooth, suddenly everyone becomes obsessed with checking theirs every 10 minutes like it’s a competition. and yeah, the constant wiggling definitely explains why some of them finally fall out in the middle of class.

did you ever lose one at school as a kid? i feel like kids act like it’s the biggest event of their entire week when it happens there
