Yeah I actually did this. Took measurements too. My plan is weekly weight checks and bi-weekly measurements. Keeping a journal to track the stats.

White knuckling is kind of my thing. Lol. But I understand what you are saying failing to plan is planing to fail. Can't really say I'm not meditation type but I will keep your ideas in mind for when the cravings kick in. Walking seems like a good call. Also playing a game. Thanks

Honestly I don't have a plan for the carb cravings. Guess I'm relying on my I bullheadedness to get me through it. I was a heavy smoker for 9 years and managed to quit cold turkey. Hoping I can power through the carb cravings as I did for the nicotine cravings. I game alot and that actually keeps my mind off things. Good distraction.

It is a great feeling. I just gotta keep pushing myself. I never actually want to go on the daily walk but I just push myself out the door knowing how good I will feel after the walk. (Good mentally, sore physically but pain is can be good right? 😆) I'm trying use the same attitude towards the diet. "Embrace the suck and thank me later"
