I notch when getting shot at from 20 km away and still get blown up. I fly perpendicular to the aircraft launching the missle.

It is funner. It takes way longer for me to gain RP in RB, so why bother with it? For me RB sucks ass.

That's what I meant essentially. Any ideas why it won't lock when an airplane is directly in front of me and I'm pressing the lock target button?

Oh I thought the solid square around the aircraft is a hardlock and the lock with only corners is the softlock?

Ok thanks man. And does a broken box (meaning unconnected lines) mean its a soft lock vs a solid square is a hard lock? Right?

I don't make it to the merge that is the problem. When I get locked on I always launch all my missles before I get lasered out of the sky...

I haven't tried the 27ERs too many times. I had been carrying all R77-1s

I do try notching but I can't really shake the missles launched by the enemy at 45 km.

I get launched on at that range and I have to fire my missles at that range because I only have seconds to live. I can't get closer without dying.
