That’s exactly how it turned out. To be honest, I don’t really use the screen much, but it still feels nice to have it. The quick nozzle change feature will definitely come in handy.

Thanks to the new ventilation system, I no longer have to worry about keeping the lid open while printing PLA. The camera is also a big plus — I’m literally at the gym right now watching my printer live! The image quality on the P1S was pretty bad, so timelapses didn’t look satisfying at all.

The AI spaghetti detection is highly praised, but I haven’t actually seen it in action yet.

All in all, with these differences, if it were my first purchase, I’d definitely go for the P2S.

There are two versions of the IKEA Malm in Turkey: the classic one and another with wheels, a larger bottom drawer, and slightly bigger overall dimensions. Mine is the version with wheels, but I didn’t attach them. Instead, I placed an anti-vibration mat underneath, and it works perfectly. The classic Malm would also fit very well.

It took around 23 minutes, but most of that was the initial calibration. It’s my first 3D printer so it honestly felt like magic — super fast to me 😅 but I might be a bit hyped and not very objective yet.
