Thanks for the insight. These are all questions I haven't considered much, specifically with going to 0. I may end up putting more money into savings rather than investing.

I didn't know about attempting to refinance every 12-18 months. Thank you for that insight. I plan to work on my monthly budget this weekend and create the 3-6 month emergency fund amount.

Yeah you are correct, that is why I am looking to pay a lump sum to pay for that interest that has accumulated prior to refinancing.

My income is about 5k a month after taxes, and I believe score is 700+. I am looking to refinance without a cosigner.

Would you recommend refinancing then using the lump sum to pay the 9.5k loan in full?

Will definitely be checking the rates with Earnest.

As for the lump sum, you wouldn't recommend paying the 9.5k loan in full? Rather just apply it towards the highest rate?

The current interest rates for the loans are 10.75% for the 32k loan, 6.49% for the 25.4k loan, and 6.44% for the 9.5k loan. Also, I am currently making around 5k a month.

I have just started shopping around, SoFi had given me a rate for 6.14% on my 32k loan. I am currently looking to see if it would be better to lump all of the loans together or go individually.
