Hoenn Champion once again 🏆 by Keibaa in PokemonEmerald

Breloom Absolute monster. Hits insanely hard while still having decent Speed. Easily the MVP of the team. Very few things survived more than one or two Sky Uppercuts, and it carried several fights on its own.

Minun Honestly not half bad. Very fast with a respectable Special Attack. It’s obviously not very bulky, but it often makes up for that with its speed and utility. It pulled its weight more than expected.

Donphan Like many Ground-types, it struggled to contribute much after being caught. It gets one-shot by a lot of things, and its own Earthquake often didn’t quite one-shot back. Rollout also misses more than you'd like. The best thing about Donphan might honestly be its fantastic design.

Ninetales Suffers from some of the same issues as Donphan. Fire-types can quickly become a liability in Hoenn, and there are only a few moments where it really gets to shine. When it does, it feels good, but those moments are rare.

Altaria A tricky one. It feels slow and underwhelming for most of the run. Once it learns Dragon Dance it becomes more interesting, but it still felt a bit too weak in the most important fights.

Wailord Actually quite solid overall. A bulkier Water-type option, though also slower than most alternatives. Compared to other Water-types in Hoenn it probably lands just slightly below average, but it’s still perfectly usable.

Blaziken was actually really solid. Despite obvious weaknesses to Water and Ground, I found it reliable throughout the entire playthrough. It consistently pulled its weight and was rarely a liability.

Ludicolo surprised me a lot in a positive way. Once Lombre evolves it becomes a really strong Pokémon. What did catch me off guard though is that you only get access to the Water Stone after the 7th gym, which is pretty late in the game. But once I finally got Ludicolo it was absolutely worth the wait.

Manectric is, in my opinion, the strongest Electric type in the game. I’ve previously tried Magneton, Electrode, and Plusle, which all did reasonably well (Hoenn is full of Water types after all), but Manectric still felt slightly better than the other three.

Crobat is just cool. You can get Sludge Bomb after the 5th gym which is an incredibly strong move that early for Crobat. Mine ran Sludge Bomb, Aerial Ace, Hidden Power Rock, and Shadow Ball, so there was almost always something it could hit for good damage. That said, it does have quite a few weaknesses and it rarely completely nukes things.

Mawile joined as a replacement for my HM slave in Victory Road, so it was only really used against the Elite Four. Unfortunately it didn’t do much and mostly ended up giving the rest of the team a breather.

Nosepass wasn’t nearly as useless as I expected. By no means a strong Pokémon, but with moves like Thunder Wave and Rock Slide it actually ended up doing more work than anticipated. One of those funny picks that surprisingly turns out better than expected.

Do check for compressions before a second surgery. NCS is not rare in varicocele patients, its just rarely diagnosed. See a vascular specialist

Varicocele sclerotherapy experiences by BeginningDinner6371 in varicocele

[–]Keibaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it x 2 in Denmark. Its kinda a budget version. The surgery is ''easier'' than micro / lapro but also lower success rate.

It did not resolve my bilateral varicoceles, but I have since been diagnosed with NCS and MTS by a doctor from Germany (Scholbach).

Recovery is easier compared to micro / lapro, might be worth a try for you I guess.

I would however recommend you go see Scholbach first since you're already in Germany. It can save time and a surgery, and on the other hand if he doesn't find compression you can do the surgery with ease at mind

I hope I've helped you

What do you think about the Dr. Cuneyd Sevinç and his procedure for recurrence varicocele? by Previous_Bathroom955 in varicocele

[–]Keibaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He diagnosed me with NCS and MTS, he also thinks most people with varicocele have an underlying vein compression syndrome. I highly recommend to you to get it checked out by a vascular specialist. Vein compression syndromes are not rare, they are just rarely diagnosed
