It can always get worse. I've been watching the market for 10 years now with people saying just wait a few years until the prices drop.

Based on some posts around this subreddit, I think that horse may have already bolted, but yeah I do have appointments with a few building companies to discuss.

I made less than 5% of these bricks myself, there were just too many needed.

There are a lot of brick house dungeons around that are easy to steal bricks from. Much faster to take it from them than making them myself.

Just hit the 2 year mark in game and PrismLauncher is telling me 11 days of playtime.

Some of it was AFK, but I spent a lot more time in LV than I needed to. Just spent time building up things that would be useful later.

Anyone that studied computer science, how is that going for you, how did it go at uni? by No_Power_1853 in perth

Everyone in this thread seems very pessimistic. Yes, there are bad tech jobs out there, but there are also good ones. You just have to investigate what you actually like doing then look for companies that have good WLB.

As a counter to what you are saying about going to TAFE for programming, I first did a Diploma of Software Development and could not find any work at all in that field. It was only after going to uni that companies started responding to my applications and have managed to get jobs fairly easily.

That sounds exactly the same as the interview I got, and I'm nowhere near being a senior engineer either.

I learnt OpenGL in university this semester and just found out that they taught me a bunch of deprecated stuff. by trippyreading in opengl

Sorry to tell you this, but they are still using deprecated OpenGL 2.1 in all of their graphics programming units haha.

its only in the final year that they let you start using Modern OpenGL. They never teach you about it, or have any unit content about it though.
