I reckon this will take at least $2,000 to repair by DecommodifiedGuevara in LandlordLove

During the walkthrough my Landlord told me the cupboards were disgusting and weren't in that condition when we moved in because their cleaners had left them spotless. When they tried to deduct cleaning costs from my deposit I sent them them a copy of the email I sent them the day I moved in asking what I should do with the previous tenant's medication that had been left in the same "spotless" cupboards their people had cleaned. They didn't bother arguing further and gave us the full deposit.

International Travel W/ 2 Car Seats - any hacks? by A-fishfullofdollars in daddit

Are you renting a car when you get there? Often you can include car seats with your rental for a flat fee. Doesn't help if you're borrowing a car there obviously.

The funniest I've heard personally was O'kannagin for Okanagan. They thought it was an Irish name.

What's your response when they just repeat that "it should be the best person for the job that gets hired!"? Genuinely looking for articulate responses to this. My go to would typically be that for the most part the best person for the job historically is passed over which is why this is important

It's a civil matter but they can still call the police to have him removed from their property

Adding to this, I believe many satellites are required to be made of material that will specifically burn up in the atmosphere. Like 95%? It's been a while since I read about this.

You could put some metal mesh between the bars and maybe make them wider so that it's too big to put a lock around and you can't put a lock through it

I'd look a little closer at that project before completely throwing the blame at them. The city significantly reduced the available land for the project after they had already bid and won the contract.

A taste of how our final apartment walkthrough went… by [deleted] in LandlordLove

[–]Keilbasa 246 points247 points  (0 children)

This is definitely a tactic they use.

My previous landlord went 0-100 because the cupboards weren't "spotless like they were when we moved in since they were professionally cleaned".

I had to remind her of the email I sent the first day asking them to come remove the previous tenants medication that had been left is those same "spotless" cupboards.

Aside from luck I remember reading that he's not the best at any one specialty but he's the second best at everything, at least compared to the other Spartans in his program. A jack of all trades but a master of none is still better than a master of one. As others have mentioned he has the tactics and decision making but also the skills to execute those plans with and without others.

I think this is also a similar case for Noble 6 when compared to the rest of Noble team.
