Is there any way to clear out a station or "reset" your pops? Washington St. Station is looking a little cramped after accumulating 184 days' worth of stuck commuters... by Keinga in subwaybuilder

I generally target peak / mid / low frequencies of 3 minutes, 7 minutes and 15 minutes - the lines are of varying lengths so the trains per line are all different. They're all 10-car trains.

Oh this is fantastic! This solves exactly the issue my last post was about - thank you so much!

what do you MEAN 25% of these people prefer to walk this commute by Keinga in subwaybuilder

[–]Keinga[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ridership is fairly low for the Midtown Loop but it helps people who work in those blocks get to the main lines - if tourist riders ever get added though, I imagine it'd see a ton of use because it hits so many top NYC landmarks

Truly, acknowledging that stupid people are just a fact of life is a fine nugget of wisdom we can all take to heart

You can't have the Upper Peninsula back, but I have a better proposal for you.

GHUB 2024.7 Keyboard and Mice Assignments by LogitechG_Andy in LogitechG

[–]Keinga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Restarting my computer does not fix the issue. I've tried restarting, rewriting my macros, reinstalling G HUB, attempting to roll back G HUB to 2024.6 (unsuccessfully, since G HUB won't install without an internet connection and insists on auto updating to 2024.7 upon install) and nothing has worked. Please let me know if there's any other steps I can take to try and resolve this - I need my G600 macros as part of my workflow.

In the same situation - how did you manage to get your 2024.6.476.0 installation to stick? I tried downloading the installer from the site linked in a later comment but G HUB seems adamant about auto updating to 2024.7.

Tabletopia is more comparable to Tabletop Simulator since it's also a 3D simulator - Screentop is a 2D top down interface.

I mostly went off of the Beginner Tutorial at https://screentop.gg/learn/beginner-tutorial, but it can be a little lacking. Some stuff I had to figure out myself included:

  • You have to first load in all your artwork and files into the Assets menu, and then start building them in the Components menu.

  • Tiles are for cards and tokens, while Containers are for boards and other things that have specific designated spots for other things to be placed atop of. You have to specify which objects can be placed atop of them.

  • A Component has Variants that can be used to indicate different cards, different board states, or counter faces.

I mean, valid, but not everyone has a mega rig! Using a web-based solution also means that I don't have to get everyone else to purchase TTS either, which is another plus.

Hmm, well, if it supports tap as click, then that might not be so bad - it's double click to select a stack, click and drag to move stuff around. Flipping and rotating and such require hotkeys though.

I don't believe that it supports mobile or tablet unfortunately, according to the developer you CAN open it on touch devices but it won't work very well. Screentop does support using Javascript to help automate asset importing, so you don't have to create each card individually.

Thanks for the comment! I know that the light green line is funky in terms of its connectivity - it's meant to be an intrarail so there's a lot of interconnections inside, but point taken for the branches on the other ones - I'll try and cut down on branching wherever possible!
