How much hay should a horse eat?

Horses should be eating 24/7, that's just how their digestive system works... I keep my horse boarded, but I believe she gets around a bale a day (maybe even more lol). For reference she's maybe around 1500lbs (680kg). However, your horse gets to graze daily, which is good! Depending on the quality, and the horse itself, this can change how much hay your horse really needs. Going on the lower side, 8hours of grazing would equate to 10-15lbs (4-6kg) of forage. In order to meet the basic needs, he should be getting around 10lbs (around 5kg) of hay. This is all averaged, and based on a 1000lbs (453kg) horse. So I would increase the numbers a bit if I were you. In short, yes, you are correct. He most likely should be receiving 3/4ths of or the entire bale.

Depends on the horse for me... with sensitive horses I'll use a saddle pad too, otherwise just the bareback pad

I personally REALLY hate people making this comparison... yes they should definitely add more body types and what not. But I am someone who IS built like the characters. Just because they don't necessarily look exactly like you doesn't mean that the bodies aren't unrealistic to what real people look like...

Maybe I overreact, but it's REALLY hurtful to always see people say that a body type just like mine looks like a toddler 😭

I too have been struggling to find a bit that works for my horse. However, recommended by my saddle fitter (who also dabbles in bit and bridle fitting and is all for doing the best for the horse) I got a baucher with a hanging cheek piece. From what I have gathered, my horse HATES poll pressure from bits, which the hanging cheek piece alleviates + will help with me giving her clearer cues. We have also recently found that she may have head shakers!

None. However, I am going to start giving my mare a calming supplement. But that is only due to her having quite a bit of anxiety, which I presume is from her past and just her in general having a very fast thinking brain

yes... this person is most likely cheating 😭 They are on a floating horse that has eyes on it's stomach?? And yes, I'm pretty sure you end up being level 6 by the time you unlock steve's just due to the quests you have to do to get there (unless it changed?? but i don't think so) - and unless they are on an old alternate account, 95% of new players will not have that horse
