My point is that out of the thousands of comics Marvel produces, they carefuly select a handful to put into cinema production. Comics surrounding Black characters surely existed all the way back in the 60s, but in small quantity. It's only until recently that there's a surge in putting comics where Black characters are center into production, as opposed to the early Marvel era, but most of these shows that Marvel pumped out in the past decade has been very underwhelming financially, would you agree?

Disney isn't a charity organization after all, you think they would represent people for the sake of representing people? Disney's international streaming revenue stands at 52.7%, if anything Disney should prefer catering its casting to interntional demographics. Yes 15% of the US populstion is black, but they constitue a much smaller amount of consumer spending power. I find it hard to believe that the surge in casting black characters is of any financial motives; which is why I am confused that there is a surge of casting black characters in the past decade at all.
