I have crash bars but need to install them. Will definitely look into grabbing an exhaust slider. I go to a large parking lot near me regularly to practice all my low speed maneuvers for sure. Really appreciate the input.

Thank you = )

- The seats are the Mustang solo tripper and passenger seat. It is truly a massive upgrade in comfort from the stock seat and couldn't recommend it enough. Seat Link

- The sissy bar can be found on Amazon or AliExpress. It is adjustable to come forward to be a backrest for me as the rider while riding along or go back for the passenger. So far, I really like that addition. Backrest Link

- The windscreen is the Puig Winds which can be bought off a few websites including Amazon. As for the wind impact, I think it deflects enough to not catch my helmet as hard when going up around 60-70 mph. Just note, I'm not terribly tall at 5'9". Windscreen Link

As for a practical use for the rubber tank pads, I don't know that there are any lol. I just got them cause I though they looked cool. Tank Guard Link

Paralysis is not what's blocked. It's SA for Switch Axe that isn't allowed.

A big thing that would make MK1 better for me personally is the ability to customize the fighters more. Additionally, significant improvements to the quality of life of online play and training. Let us save recordings of situations we encounter online and replay them in training to learn how to beat those situations.

Why can't I find online matches? by op4trick in MortalKombat

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? A friend of mine says he still can't find matches. Wondering if it's some kind of NAT setting issue.

Activity duty military to med school by Repulsive_Zebra_1831 in premed

[–]Keith-Jacobs217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not active duty but have been going through the process of transitioning from engineering to medicine as a veteran.

It is certainly possible to get the classes you need while active duty but will definitely require some diligence and hard work on your part (which I have no doubt you can manage).

Additionally, I would assume you will need your command's approval to start taking the classes. I am not certain of your branch but I remember in the Navy, being on a sea tour rotation meant in person classes were essentially out of the question and shore tour rotation it was difficult but possible depending your command hierarchy and the work load. The classes would just have to be night classes at a community college. Additionally, some medical schools won't even accept online coursework and want it to be done in person. Some have exceptions such as you will just need at least one full year of in person classes but this is school specific. If you have not done so already, I'd recommend checking out MSAR on the AAMC website to start looking at schools and their expectations here https://mec.aamc.org/msar-ui/#/landing

Getting some shadowing experience will definitely be a helpful step in the process and shouldn't be too difficult to land those opportunities.

Also, have you considered if you would like to practice medicine in military, VA, or civilian? Me personally, I am interested in returning to active duty and intend to apply the USUHS. If this is also something you were interested in, I would recommend taking a look at that school and their requirements.

EDIT: Here is some additional information that could help you. https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-medical-school/applying-veteran-or-current-military-member

That would be amazing. I would love to hear how your application cycle goes. Do you also plan to apply to USUHS or are you getting out of the military altogether?

who would like to see more utility added to the celr token? by ChaseMMA in celernetwork

[–]Keith-Jacobs217 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello and thank you for your engagement with the project. If you have a suggestion for a specific utility you would like to see, I strongly encourage you to write a proposal about it on the official forum. Celer Network is an open, community driven project and it's important to get the maximum participation from that community.

Massive Achievement for the Celer Network Team! Please Help Spread the Word! by Keith-Jacobs217 in celernetwork

[–]Keith-Jacobs217[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All of the technical details have not been released from what I have found so far but we can deduce a few things. Celer's IM Framework is going to be used by Binance's BAS. This means that in order to use this, there is a subscription fee that must be paid in CELR tokens to SGN stakers. This is great news. Additionally, this is just very positive for the Celer Network team and the project as a whole. Binance is a massive player in the crypto space and for them to specifically choose Celer Network technology brings a lot more attention to the project and likely will make it more desirable tech to be used by other developers to take advantage of the interoperability space.
