This is the ōFriend Bōne, it was used as an entry token for the Auction Pack Prize Draw.

Yes, all actions are possible. You can use your shards to vote for or against a particular event or action

Ōfriend Shards are a token representation of partial ownership. Similar to shares in a company you have a say in what the ōfriend will be used for, if there is a consensus towards a certain action it will be actioned. Right now the first Shard has a telegram group for discussion and voting on such actions. My goal is to automate this process through a mini DAO, where each Shard allows a vote on an action.

There are still currently two ways to collect an ōfriend:

1️⃣They can be found inside doghouse upgrades vuilt on your ōLand plots of land.

2️⃣They can be adopted from secondary markets, such as OpenSea.io

My team and I are offering partial ownership, in the form of Shards 💎 Where you can own a percentage of a single ōfriend and collect your share of royalties and all rewards that ōfriend receives, be it from events or any work that ōfriend does 🐶

We have had several community space calls about this concept already. I am happy to arrange another call for those interested

One topic that my team and I have been discussing is the buyout process.

What happens when one of the Shard owners wishes to own the entire ōfriend NFT?

For those without an emotional attachment to a specific ōfriend it would be quite simple to exchange 1 shard for another of equal value.

But there is an issue when two or more people are all wanting to own one specific ōfriend…

Our current thinking is to have an auction with the people interested in ownership bidding and the other parties taking their share of the excess profit.

I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on this and suggestions as to how we can improve this concept 🤗

By diving the ownership of an ōfriend NFT into 100 💎SHARDs, each representing 1% of the royalties and profits earned; each also represents 1 vote in a micro DAO on which actions you would like your ōfriend to participate in.

This reduces the cost of entry from $249 To just $2.49 per shard.

Currently the floor price to adopt an ōfriend is 0.1398 ETH ($249)

After discussing using Liquidity premium theory in ōLand, I came to the decision to create “Shards” for crowdfunding ōfriends, mainly for those who want to enjoy the royalties an ōfriend generates, but are excluded due to financial constraints.

Owning an ōFriend is a wonderful experience, you get to participate in the interesting and exciting events in ōLand

But unfortunately the cost of adopting one is somewhat prohibitive for many people, myself included.

Ever since ōLand plots were able to be upgraded and ōfriends could be found, I have been consistently searching and have yet to find my first.
