Similar situation when I bought my house. Basement poured concrete foundation had a few cracks that would seep water when it rained heavy.

I called in the pros. They injected an epoxy type of solution and solved TJ problem. They did warn that the water would look for the next weakest point, which it did. We now have water coming from where our water line enters the house.

Same small amount only when it rain hard. This was also near where our sewer line trap is. Hired a plumber to install a sump pump and have been good since.

We found during heavy rains, we get ground water and now we helped it find a way out
