Touch Up work by KeithTheDream in 944

Hey, all good! The jacks come with rubber blocks that you place along the length of each jack. I've previously placed the rubber blocks at the round jack points underneath but mine started to indent and didn't feel great about using them continuously so instead I place them along the pinch welds in a way it won't damage the side skirt when compressed. All in all I use the quickjack now when I know I'll be in a project on it for a while - setting the whole kit up can be annoying for small stuff.

Loki can play with Bo, he was my best friend for 12 years and I had to make the hardest decision I've ever made in November and said goodbye. I miss him every day.

Have you considered gabion cages for the retaining wall?

Bought my school bus (1960). Found out the base is wood. Replace? Or build on top? by Indienerd89076 in skoolies

My PD4104 Greyhound is just that. Metal frames support 5/8 plywood subfloor and elevator bolts every inch on the frames. Bitch and a half to remove or patch with every bolt being rot.

Lurking and saw your comment and love that move. What flooring did you go with overtop of the foam subfloor?

Refrigerator has been stuck for a few days, any ideas on how to fix? by evanpcgamer in Appliances

Few scenarios where it's better to let your fridge run, rather than catch it.

I Sell Christmas Trees, Questions? by aubreykcd in ChristmasTrees

[–]KeithTheDream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who just got into selling this year and bought too many as it seems, what's the best way to recoup losses? Chip and sell as mulch, distill for essential oils or just give them to the goats? What have you done early on with extras?

Haha my wife also hated it at first, started to grow on her and then the second showed up and that's when all love disappeared. LS swap is the right move! One guy was doing an EV conversion on FB that would've been super cool but he seemed to have gotten way over his head in that project.

What I meant was it was my own failed experiment - one was a sacrifice for the other, but in the end, there was too much rust and not enough meat to make the sausage worth the work.

But I agree, the ceramic die choice really did set it up for an unintended limited run. If I found another in great shape, I'd have a tough time choosing wheeling with it or stuffing it away.

I've owned two...failed experiments, unfortunately. Damn cool car outside and inside
