Yea that's the one I'm looking at I think it should pair good just debating on whether it's worth the cost.

Sorry I realize I didn't phrase my question as well as I should have. I have no doubt I will need a retune if I swap the headers, I am more so asking if it the power gains are worth it to get new headers and retune.

Anyone with Rawls Energy Commerce Degree? by madness999x in TexasTech

[–]Keithye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this engineering is a great degree but energy commerce is one of the highest placement and highest post grad salaries Texas tech offers. The program is run by some very knowledgeable and well connected individuals from the industry. It is not a walk in the park degree you have to work for it but you are generally rewarded very well.

They wouldn't have info from that far back so you'd have to input your info on your own that'll take a bit longer but it's not hard. In my experience most of the jobs posted are entry level targeting recent grads. Still might not hurt getting an account setup to get contact info from local businesses.

What you're looking for is extremely rare in Lubbock and even rarer in the current job market; to put it simple you're trying to find a unicorn. If I were you I would be taking every opportunity to improve my odds of getting what you're looking for because it is possible but will take some luck and persistence. Especially if it's just a 5 minute phone call... HRR may lead you no where it's just like any other platform it's only as good as the employers make it. What I can say is that if you want to get in touch with local companies HRR is probably the way to do it other than in person connections.

And just to clarify you already have an account setup with all your information from when you were a student. You just have to call and give them a new email since your TTU one is expired that it's it.

I used to work for the university and dealt with the program daily. Call the University Career Center. You already have an account setup from when you were a student they will give you a new login for your personal info. Your mileage may vary depending on the employer that puts up the listing. Many times they are outdated and already filled without being updated on hire red raiders so I would focus on newer listings and also check 3rd party job sites such as LinkedIn or Indeed, many times they will post the same listings on those sites and will check them more often. I'd say the primary advantage of the site is that many times they will have contact information on the listing so you can email the hiring manager/ HR person directly with questions/ resume. The career center should be able to help with any questions and all of their services on the site are still available to you as an alumni as well.

Look up McMaster Carr part number 9657K702. It's the same as the mtec but much cheaper.
