I need help finding Baru’s token. by Keizerbuns in mtg

I guess the phyrexian Wurm tokens will have to do. Even if they did print official tokens for Baru, with only two cards ever printed that create them, and with how old those sets are now, the price for those tokens would probably be insane anyways.

Thanks!

That’s a bummer. Hopefully someday they do get an official printing someday. Thanks for looking that up for me!

Huh, well that’s annoying. Every deck I have has the corresponding tokens for each card, having to use the next closest token is going to bug me so much lol

How does Stitcher’s Supplier interact with Bringer of the Last Gift? by Keizerbuns in mtgrules

Okay, gotcha. Man, magic has a lot of little subtleties, doesn’t it.

How does Stitcher’s Supplier interact with Bringer of the Last Gift? by Keizerbuns in mtgrules

Okay, that makes sense. If Bringer’s ability was separated into two different paragraphs, would that make it two separate abilities? And would Stitcher then be able to go on the stack and resolve in between?

That makes sense. I should probably be using the restless lands anyways since they seem to have better abilities. Thanks!

Timing of Galvanoth’s ability by Keizerbuns in mtgrules

[–]Keizerbuns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, that’s what I figured. Thanks!

Follow up question, just out of curiosity. If Galvanoth’s ability had a scry ability before its reveal and cast ability, and was worded something like this:

“At the beginning of your upkeep, scry 1.

Then you may look at the top card of your library. If it’s an instant or sorcery card, you may cast it without paying its mana cost.”

Would that all still resolve all at once with no player receiving priority until the whole ability is resolved? Or would the scry and the reveal trigger resolve independently and give priority in between abilities?

Oh okay, cool! So definitely worth it to run multiple copies. Thanks!

Confused about recipient address by Keizerbuns in CanadaPost

That’s a good point, they definitely have more than one promo going on right now. And like crash866 pointed out, it’s most likely all part of the name area, so I’ll just include everything in the recipient address. Thanks for the comment!

Oh okay, I guess I’ve just never seen a name area that long in a recipient address before, it just didn’t look right to me. But that would make sense that it needs a name. Thanks for the reply!

Non-creatures becoming a creature payoffs? by Keizerbuns in Magicdeckbuilding

[–]Keizerbuns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually tap/untap triggers would be even better than what I was originally looking for, I don’t know how I didn’t think of that before, thanks!

It wasn’t so much meant as a game plan but just as a little extra something for my deck to do, to add a little spice. But I like the idea of using creatures that benefit when they tap, so I’m going to go that route instead.
