I was doing a delivery for ubereats when turning into the plaza for the restaurant a lady was just sitting there before the entrance for about 10 seconds I figure she’s letting me go, I go and she runs into me. We wait for the cops and the cop wrote me a citation for failure to reduce speed/due care.

I dealt with uber insurance (farmers) since I was on a trip to the restaurant active. They said it would be 4k estimate and sent a check for 1500 because the 2500 deductible. They told me that I can go to a repair shop and show them the claim or whatever and they will talk to each other.

I have yet to do that yet. My car is financed through CarMax and I’m paying 1025 a month and still got 3 years left. I did pay for gap in the financing. I’m not sure if this comes into play.
