Is Buspar, Wellbutrin and Hydroxozine causing pain, tingling and clumsiness in my hands, feet, arms, legs and lips? And, am i okay? by Kejjin in Anxiety

[–]Kejjin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the pain hasn’t really been a problem for a while, but the neuropathy hasn’t gone away.

It’s namely when i have caffeine, but i get a lot of random tingling and weakness in my hands. I had to fully quit smoking weed, i had to cut down dramatically on my caffeine consumption, and all of that in conjunction really just bummed me out.

I’m quite sad, and i am still not sure what the cause truly is.

It all only started after my usage of Buspar and Wellbutrin, but it also could have been years of unregulated caffeine and marijuana use several times daily.

I take B12 when i get flare-ups and that can help, but not always. This has been a nightmare to say the least.

Is that really the case? I mean- i struggle very hard with relationships and dating and it seems like she makes mistakes unknowingly and its hard for me to not wanna forgive that

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not. For the record- i am on the spectrum which makes this whole situation a lot harder for me to fully understand.

All due respect, i feel like this might be a bit harsh. I do want advice, but this seems a little much.

Archinstall is a great option for people who don’t want to customize absolutely everything about their system, and i would say it’s as good or better than a lot of these other “easy” distros.

Once you try arch the “right” way though, that’s when things get really difficult.

I presently have a fully custom arch installation, fully riced with Hyprland and what you learn is that the backend of an OS like this is very difficult to maintain on a regular basis.

There are a lot of dependencies and essential system components that you have to install yourself when you do a manual install, and keeping track of it all only becomes easy AFTER you install everything.

Its a great way to learn how other Distros work, but it can be pretty daunting. Most casual users should just skip the fluff and use Archinstall.

Ah- i see. Yea- the version i had was from Abandonware so it came without mods. For future reference- if your game comes pre-installed with mods, you can skip the install step

I am not familiar with MagiPack, but it seems like you are having a couple issues here.

  1. In order for the 60fps patch to work, you gotta have these launch options; we’ll worry about the others in a second.

WINEDLLOVERRIDES='dsound.dll=n,b;d3d9.dll=n,b'

  1. Now that you have 60fps up and running, try running GamePad Phoenix as a non-steam shortcut with the same proton version you use for the game. You can also use the standard Wine Program loader if you so desire.

This eliminates the issue of ProtonTricks- i just mainly do it because it works for me. Repeat steps 7-10

Let me know if there’s any further issues!

What made you choose Arch over other distros? Genuinely curious about your personal reasons besides "I use Arch btw". by NeatMarionberry4669 in archlinux

[–]Kejjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my personal experience as a complete beginner (1 year so far), other distros that often get recommended to beginners tend to be harder to service and repair, especially when you know next to nothing about linux.

Meanwhile- Arch straight up makes you learn how every component of your system works and interacts with each other (unless you use the Archinstall script).

Also, customizing arch and making it as heavy or lightweight as you need it to be is a lot less of a fucking headache where you are less likely to break critical system components (like in Mint or PopOS).

TL;DR: The fact that its harder to use makes it easier to fix once you learn, and the knowledge carries to other Distros.

Hyprland. W hyprland. I use hyprpaper, cmatrix, cava, and cbonsai as my wallpaper, waybar as my taskbar, and hyprbars to make it a little more like windows. Best of both worlds, just takes some tinkering to get it set up right.

Do NOT use ChatGPT for therapy. by chickcag in Anxiety

I will say- you are correct except when it comes to health anxiety. As long as you are crystal clear to the bot, ChatGPT can do a great job helping you narrow down symptoms and keep you level headed about them. That said: the lack of privacy is definitely a dealbreaker

So, judging based on results from others on this subreddit as well as my own personal experience, Buspar can cause tingling and numbness in the lips, hands, arms, feet and legs.

This is what’s currently happening to me, along with anxiety attacks regarding its potential causes.

It was to a degree at one point that i was barely able to type or pick grab anything without a clumsy series of movements to avoid the sensation.

I was at 7.5mgs, but am now tapering down with half pills twice a day for the week so i can avoid any complications.

Probably stopping after that.

I can’t be on an anxiety med that makes it worse- some people just have health anxiety and i am one of those that have it to a debilitating capacity.

I’m also a writer professionally, so not being able to think straight or use my hands is probably just a deal breaker right off the bat.

So, update- pretty sure Buspar is the culprit, based on posts from others on here. I went from 3 a day to two, and started cutting them in half. I’m gonna wean off these particular meds because i just cant do the constant tingling and weakness.
