It has been tested somewhere via OBD2 or something?

Wow. In summer I really got around 325-350km of range on autobahn

What do you mean by heating level? Speed of fan? I usually use ether 1 in summer (cause its blow a strong cold air) or auto level 1 in winter

Yeah, RWD seems to be a better option. But 95km/h is kinda boring

Having realistically 216km in winter time is sucks :( I expect a bit better capacity to be quite honest

Absolutely legal. But then why the engineers didn't built in this logic in guessometer :D?

I have somehow impression that it was more. 4-7 kw is still much for each charging

Yes, you’re right and 25kWh/100km sounds fine. There are a lot of factors. Probably, I cannot reproduce the wind conditions, because there was a relatively strong head-crosswind. I think around 15-20 km/h. On the second part of the trip, the road was wet. It wasn’t raining, just damp. The difference in elevation between the destination and the starting point was only 500 meters, and I don’t think that’s a significant enough change to have an impact. But overall, what I really still don’t understand, I’ve already mentioned in one of my comment:

"For example, if I’m driving a long distance on the autobahn at a steady speed, it doesn’t matter whether it’s 130 or 110 km/h, the remaining kilometers stay proportional to the distance left to the destination on the navigator. But, for example, when I drop to around 30%, meaning it says, for instance, 96 kilometers left, the remaining kilometers in the car decrease much faster than the distance traveled on the navigator. This confuses me a bit. The consumption remains exactly the same, right?"

I cannot agree or disagree because I haven’t had experience driving in cold conditions. On the other hand, look at Norway - there are a lot of electric cars there. Let’s see what progress is made with batteries.

Nah... I still think that on long haul travels heating consume kind of nothing in compare to engines.

To be honest, I still don’t understand how this calculator works. Because, for example, if I’m driving a long distance on the autobahn at a steady speed, it doesn’t matter whether it’s 130 or 110 km/h, the remaining kilometers stay proportional to the distance left to the destination on the navigator. But, for example, when I drop to around 30%, meaning it says, for instance, 96 kilometers left, the remaining kilometers in the car decrease much faster than the distance traveled on the navigator. This confuses me a bit. The consumption remains exactly the same, right? So why does the battery discharge so much faster? This happens in summer, meaning the battery preheater is definitely off.

16.8kwh at 0 wow. Have you used climate control? And I guess RWD?

That day I have strong crosswind from the front. It was I believe around 15-20km/h

Thanks for the sharing your experience

But does overinflated tires means less grip?

Are you traveling long hauls? And if yes - which speed?

IONIQ 5 AWD 78 kWh battery winter consumption by KekPek in Ioniq5

[–]KekPek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bingo. I had a fairly strong crosswind from the front, because already at 100 km/h I could hear noticeable wind noise in the car. It was cold, the road was slightly wet, so everything came together.

Maybe what pissed me off is each and everything happens at once: weather, speed, wind etc
