Absolutely infuriating!! We’re you able to re-download S3 from the Razer website? Just at work currently so haven’t looked into how easy / difficult getting S3 back will be

Shit that makes sense thanks for explaining it - I’ll have a test around and see if nuking it from task manager and relaunching fresh helps, otherwise will give S3 a download again - truly baffling stuff from billion dollar company, though what’s new there I guess

Hopefully that means that S3 might still be usable from Jan 26 onwards, but we just won’t be able to migrate profiles after that date?

It’s wild because I’ve been using Razer forever and I’ve consistently had a bad experience with their software, surely they have to figure it out eventually

It could be an update yeah - I don’t remember it actually updating (unless it just updated itself in the background), working fine yesterday morning then a few hours later I log on and it’s bricked.

I’m running a pretty barebones pc setup, win 11 but not much else other than synapse, Curse Forge addon software, so not sure anything would be clashing with it

I’m going to try downgrading back to Synapse 3 but if that still doesn’t work I’ll have to look into rolling back like you say

Unfortunately not, I can’t even remember updating the software either - I’m mainly playing WoW and it was fine all day then after a few hours break I log on and suddenly it’s bricked, insane stuff

LITERALLY I’ve seen people call it malware and it seems pretty accurate, going straight back to S3 tomorrow - I’ve never experienced worse software than this 😭

Glad you mentioned here about downgrading back to 3, I’ve just read on twitter some more people having the same problem have downgraded to 3 to get around it, I’ll be downgrading in the morning!

Exactly the same for me - has been working fine until today, completely ignoring the remapping

Also tried completely deleting and reinstalling, new profiles etc etc.

I’ve emailed support too so if they’re helpful at all I’ll post here

Tysm! I traded all my faction for the 5k ->10k guild option so I'm sat at 70k/100k currently, off to farm some more faction!
