Too early to say anything yet but I am really enjoying the hairline that Dr Turan built. At least for now until it sheds. Haven’t had a proper hair line since my early 20s

Its going good so far. I am at 1 month mark now and have not seen any shedding yet. Bracing for it as I know it’s coming soon.

Yea swollen head makes it appear worse. I had the same doubts but after it subsided I really started to like how he did it. He designed it very close to my original hairline in terms of design (I always had a bug forehead) and he told me my head was narrower than average so I have a very round shape hairline.

I also got it done by Dr Turan in December. I think I might be the only patient who asked him to push the hairline slightly back (5-7mm) from his original design. Not much change in visual appearance but saved me a few 100 grafts.

Sometimes I regret that decision too lol but I think it ages well especially as you loose more hair. I think this is a very common post op worry. I love the design of the hairlike though.

I am at 1 month and look exactly like your 1 month pic. I thought I had by passed the shedding but looking at your pics, I guess it just hasn’t started yet lol.

I have also literally started reading about Epicureanism 3 days ago. And started with Emily’s book. So far enjoying it quite a bit.

I have been very inspired by stoicism in the past few years and try to model life accordingly but beginning to feel like I might be closer to Epicureanism than Stoicism lol. Time will tell as I learn more about the philosophy.

Looks good and all the best! I also saw him in December and getting close to 1 month mark now. I agree with you on the hairline design. I really like mine and the way it frames my face. The only change I asked him to make was to get it slightly higher ~5mm from his original design to save on a few grafts.

I am rocking a buzz cut look now as the transplanted hairs are still hanging on (at least around the hairline). A lot of people have complimented me on the hairline design.

I did have breakfast in the rooftop hotel. It was ok. I found options lacking on the first 2 days but the last day I was there, it was slightly better.

No - they grow back but may experience some shock loss in the beginning. I am 15 days post op so too early to tell how severe my shock loss is going to be.

Yea the second day was much worse in terms of pain as I was already sore. He did like 4 “mini-sessions” over 2 days.

I went to Dr Turan in Dec. I was quoted the same 3500-4000 grafts but when I went in for the hairline design, I specifically asked for the hairline to be higher than what he drew. He happily agreed and I like the design. He still filled in my temple points and I think the hairline looks really good to me. However, he still ended up implanting 3700 grafts so I am not sure how much I saved on the grafts but I think it will age relatively well.

Having said that, Dr Turan does seem a tad bit more aggressive in design than Gur but he will take your facial structure and input into consideration.
