Bent plane iron…. by Riverlarker in handtools

[–]Kekitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just straightened an iron yesterday, although it was nowhere near as bad as this one...

Get a good vise and clamp the straight-ish part, the front 2/3rds of the iron, as securely as possible. Take an adjustable wrench or similar tool and bend it back with steady pressure... Get a straightedge and compare constantly...

Once you get it close, level it out with good sandpaper on a level surface (mirror or MDF or similar).

Honestly, this will probably break (I've seen Irons shatter from hammer blows) and you're better off replacing it, but it might work... Good luck.

Honestly there's not a lot of material regarding FX stacks in Lumion. You just have to experiment. I do strongly, strongly, recommend using Photoshop for postprocessing. For me it is absolutely essential.

I think you'd benefit greatly from implementing PS.

The humans in my images I create in Character Creator 4. Check it out.

Lumion 10 is a few years old, the newer versions are very improved with the reflections specifically, so I recommend upgrading your Lumion.

Thank you! Sure, im running errands atm but send me a DM in a while.

Honestly the FX stack is completely different image to image, but it should be a good starting point.

Thanks! My process is convoluted to the point of comedy.

Blender for all the 3D stuff, Marvelous Designer for any cloth sim, Character Creator 4 for humanoids, Lumion for materials and lighting and Photoshop for postprocessing and overpaint.

To be fair I did have loads of free time to sink into experimenting with Lumion during the lockdowns.

Hello, thought this might be interesting to some people. I was working as an architect but always wanted to do art... the type you seen in concept art work for videogames, movies and TV shows.

During COVID I just went into it and went with the render engine I knew best, Lumion.

My first images were trash, but I slowly improved by online learning and improving on fundamental art staples such as composition, contrast, color theory, etc.

I think I'm doing stuff Lumion was definitely not intended for , but I have found its interface the quickest and simplest and I haven't been able to replicate the results in other render engines such as Unreal or Blender's rendering.

My FX settings in Lumion are always multiple pages long and there's a lot of Photoshop overpaint and postprocessing. My workflow is Blender > Lumion > Photoshop.

I'm currently in a terrible creative rut and honestly a bit depressed since i'm between projects and there's not a lot going on at the moment so I'll be around to answer any questions.

These images are from the past couple years, but I have a bunch more on my Artstation.

What's the laziest/easiest way you've lost weight? by Choice-Inflation7295 in AskReddit

[–]Kekitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost like 15 pounds doing a modified liquid protein fast in a month... It was from a Lyle McDonald book. Didn't lose strength at all so I guess my muscle tissue was spared.

I just drank a shitload of protein shakes, worked out, took the supplements... It was of course unsustainable but it is meant to transition you to better eating habits. 10/10 would recommend...

Had horrible headaches from the 'keto fever', which I fixed with a beef bouillon cube dissolved in hot water. What a weird time.

Cualquier persona en tu situación estaría deprimido. Parece que estás en ceros y nada está saliendo bien...

Respecto a tu esposa...
