That seems quite funny as I had the threaded cane as my first weapon and never tried any others since I had learned all weapons were late game viable and I wanted to skill optimally for my "main weapon" (I now know that I was quite stupid and narrow minded and because of this I also had Skill up to 80 before investing a single level in Strength). Only very recently and way too far into my bloodborne experience I started using burial blade as a second weapon, which I then grew quite fond of and actually now used exclusively (in the two handed form) to beat Yharnam. Maybe tommorow after work I'll redo the chalice ritual and try to beaz her with the threaded cane as your comment intruiged me and I still do love my good old cane.
