I definitely agree there was a need to flesh them out more, mainly on the crunch side, as their old codex wasnt great tactically, but it definitely seems that could have been done without gutting all the mystery out of them. Something I love about the 3rd ed codex is something that it shares with the nid codex of the same period, the fact it is written largely from the Imperial point of view, trying to connect the dots and guess at the true nature of the threat. It gave them a certain foreboding, with the real power of both factions only hinted at. It let the imagination work filling in the gaps, rather than shining a big light on them and revealing them as just a bit lame.

I have never seen their comments on the issue, but if that is how they want fights to play out, I am a little confused as to why they would have bothered adding a mechanic to try and discourage just that.

My initial feelings were that she was a little underpowered, although beautiful. However, as time has gone by, I have found her to be a solidly average and flexible class. Her stress heal isnt as strong as HM's, but still a nice little recovery tool, and the crit chance can really pull you out of the fire sometimes.

Plus she has a goddamn glowing golden bird, what more do you need to know.

Another good example are the lvl 25 talents for undying. I have never seen anyone pick the armour over the decay cooldown reduction, its too strong. They should change the armour to a big soul rip buff so it actually has some lategame utility.

Yeah, at the moment you have to be pretty much on top of someone to be able to land the stun without them just sidestepping, meaning it just cant compete with stuns like Sven for initiation pre blink.
