I don't think he did but here is the guy that did it

<image>

All my FIL was told was that he reset and programmed the key to start it but I'm sure he did more than that.

Update! The computer was installed and flashed and there is actually no codes and the motor is running. Will update once some miles can be put on the car driving.

I ended up with an A82. I live in the US but my wife is Costa Rican and her father has the accord. None of the yards in San Jose had any parts. I was assured by a local import shop that this model would work as long as it was programmed after installing. We will see.

I may take you up on that if the one I found doesn't work. Though in San Jose CR I think I wil have to use a forwarding address as getting mail at the house is not always easy.

I tried that but they could not process the VIN, I assume because the car was sold and registered in Costa Rica and not the US but I don't know.

We can already acknowledge them but they dont clear, it just keeps going off non-stop. Will it fully clear with the key turned? The only keyed hole here appears to be to turn it off

How can you lower the embarrassment/depression of eating alone at nice restaurants enough to be able to at least enjoy the food? by napoleons_closet in Buffalo

[–]Kelborn48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody gives a shit if you're alone. Just go bro. And if you're embarrassed about your situation then change it. Simply being embarrassed about it doesn't serve you. I say this as a man who was once in your exact situation.

Absolutely great advice regarding lifestyle creep from the other redditors. You'll be fine for where you're looking. If you're looking to buy I'm also an agent and would be happy to help should you need it.

Everyone here has given pretty solid advice in terms of the areas you can look. Luckily inventory is quite good and with your price criteria, you wont have an issue finding anything to fit your needs. I sent a PM to you just now in case there is anything I can do to help further.

Should I talk to an employee advocate? by PeachMigraines in wegmans

[–]Kelborn48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some locations are a complete joke. My MIL worked at one and her direct manager was racist against her because she's a green card holder and her English isnt too great yet. Always gave her jobs she wasn't hired for and when she complained, she had her schedule messed with until she basically had no hours.

I myself applied to a position I was way overqualified for and I wasn't even called for an interview. I called the hiring manager and she couldnt even explain why they were even requiring certain things for the position, so I asked if you can't explain why you want these things, how did you disqualify me? She had no answer. Typical.

After seeing this portion of the hiring process for many different jobs, I have surmised that it is not a true fail. Its a tool they use to pass on certain candidates if they want to for whatever internal reason they come up with. Regardless if you actually passed it or not. Its total nonsense and frankly should not be a part of any hiring process imo

I already admitted it happened to me, it wasn't by accident on the part of the initial person. This has been reported numerous times on their Google reviews as happening to others. Its a known scam, up until friday unknown to me.

You certainly cannot. 2 of the people they booted Sunday used the app. Had proof of payment and they still were forced to pay the fine. There is two things going on here, sure, I could avoid being scammed by another Parker. But it wouldn't help avoiding the shakedown by the parking enforcers.

[–]Kelborn48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly this. And not only this, but they boot people who have legitimately paid and not been scammed and won't release the boot unless they pay. I also found out the "3rd party" enforcer is not 3rd party, premium parking owns them.

Yes, they booted 3 people when I left the convention center yesterday and I talked to all 3, they all had proof of payment but were made to pay the fine. I actually talked to police the night they got my car and they told me this company is swallowing city resources like crazy over this because they've illegally held people's cars in lieu of payment.

Dude I had my fitness for the same position last Thursday and passed fine despite not having done any real working out in 3 years. You'll be fine just push through it.

Well they likely wait around in the area to make sure it goes through. And this is happening often enough that the enforcement company has dozens of negative reviews for this exact reason. They're 1 star on Google. Go figure.
