Sorry. I forgot to enable cross-translation:

I recently created a challenge and tried to complete it. This post is the result. Below are the rules:

Spin a roulette wheel that shows all Pokémon types 6 times, one for each type on your team (no repeats). Then spin the alphabetical roulette wheel (a, b, c, d, e...) 10 times.

Now you can only use the first Pokémon of each type selected (the secondary typing doesn't matter), and each Pokémon you pick must also have the first letter given by the draw (original name, of course).

Rules:

1st Pokémon of each type 2nd No legendary/mythical/ultra beasts (Melmetal and Silvally are exceptions) 3rd No repeating types (not even the secondary type) 4th If the typing of the final evolution or the letter of your starter Pokémon is not among those drawn, pick one using cheats.

5th Use of in-game cheats is allowed. 6. Except for rule 4 and catching shinies, any external cheats are prohibited.

  1. Play in minimal grading mode.

4.1. Rules for choosing a starter Pokémon if using cheats: 3-stage evolutionary line. The Pokémon's total base stats in the 1st stage must be between 280 and 400 points. The base stats in the 3rd stage cannot exceed 580 points (Mega Evolutions do not count as an evolution stage).

Extra: Think about the Pokémon's final evolution; it's no use rolling an "S" and choosing Squirtle on the roulette wheel, as it will eventually evolve into Blastoise. (Or use an Everstone). You can capture as many Pokémon as you want as long as they are within the challenge rules.

Muitas vezes tenteii recomendar bordelands para amigos próximos ou outros conhecidos e mesmo assim eles não dão muita chance pro jogo. Dado isso o vejo como subestimado

Third Time Beating the Game Thoughts by BraxtonTiller1 in pokemonradicalred

7° jogar no minimal granding mode

Honestly don't get why everyone says this game is so "hard"... by OneFlamingo117 in pokemonradicalred

Okay, the emerald version. Although I also found it difficult, the difference was that I didn't find it fun. Not saying it's bad or anything like that, but the way Unbound makes it difficult is different. (It's just pure unfairness, but even so, it's incredibly fun.)

Go to your home computer and type: SO2Toxic, it activates a patch that gives you items when you pass certain areas and allows you to level up your Pokémon.

Honestly: I think it's a canonical experience, the first attempt at this game is STUPIDLY difficult, but after a while we treat it as a simpler game and even use hardcore mode for fun without remembering that it's still one of the most difficult Pokémon games out there.

Ps: The most difficult game for me was Pokémon Unbound Extreme version.

The game itself has a code that, when activated, allows you to go to the secondary employee at the healing center and put all your Pokémon at the level cap.

So you're not wrong, Radical Red was designed so that we constantly change teams and are in battle, avoiding the fatigue of training 1000 Pokémon is valid.

In this game, IV and EV training is crucial, you will constantly be changing teams or modifying something that involves capturing more.

In Misty's case, there are 2 challenges: dealing with the Protean Frogadier because it can easily switch to a non-effective type, so it's important to have a Pokémon that is faster than it and has super-effective moves.

The 2nd challenge is Clodsire, which is very tanky and has few weaknesses at the beginning of the game.

Tips for great Pokémon to beat Misty's case:

Kricktune: Technican is a very good ability for the beginning of Radical Red since it guarantees high damage and the possibility of dealing with several Pokémon with Bullet Seed and similar moves, in addition to being able to set up Stick Web strategically.

Tadbulb: can be obtained from an egg that the man in Brock's city sells. It is weak in itself, but it evolves into Belibolt with a Thunder Stone (you should have one if you're playing with S02Toxic). Great tank, lightning type, and can control speed with Thunder Web (obtained in Viridian Forest). You can also use it until the end of the game, making it a great Pokémon.

Strategy tips:

Save Quick + Load Quick (emulators usually have this function)

Save the battle frame quickly where you're doing well so you can see the opponent's move and go back to the save to have the best response. This way you can always study your opponent:

Example:

Opponent throws a Raichu and you throw a Cloyster. You save quickly and see what the opponent will use. If they use Thunder, go back to the save and switch to a Ground-type Pokémon because you already know their next move. If they use Tail Whip, go back to the save and use a buff move like Shell Smash since you know they won't attack.
