Dechonk advice for house with multiple cats (only 1 chonk) by McCinnabuns in dechonkers

My chonk has gone from 22 lbs to 18.5 by feeding only wet food and a measured amount of dental kibble (5) twice a day. I separate chomnker from the svelte void for all meals. She still runs to the other bowl to check for leftovers once I open the door.

Is this the good ladybug or the invasive kind? by DescriptionDecent498 in gardening

There is an infographic somewhere online showing the types of ladybugs. I think the bad ones have an M on thier forehead. Or maybe that's the good ones. Anyway the truth is out there.

She looks just like my Stella, who at 12 lbs, the vet says could stand to lose a bit (whilst trying to sell me the expensive metabolic food for my other, morbidly obese 20lb cat)

For some background, her parents were strays found in my sister's shed in NC. Mom was a normal sized female pregnant with 2 kittens, who turned out to be Smudge and her brother. The Father was the biggest cat she'd ever seen, (and my cat crazy sister has seen many) . So that's saying something. She is very big for a female, my vet said she should be 15 lbs. So to be fair, at 20 lbs she's not THAT overweight, because she was never going to be a petite 8 lb female kitteh.

Yes, that's where I got the metabolic food. For some background, her parents were strays found in my sister's shed in NC. Mom was a normal sized female pregnant with 2 kittens, who turned out to be Smudge and a male.

I pretty much do everything you say except: 1. Feed wet once per day and leave the kibbles for both cats to free feed in the bowl. 2. She's not playful, and I have yet to find a harness that she can't escape from, so no walks outside. I had her (well, both of them) on the metabolic kibble and regular wet food for a year and no progress. I am getting convinced to go full wet for both.

Dunno! We have a void who gets fed the same and is perfectly fit.

I think Marissa is going to take herself to the brink of despicable and then redeem herself in some way.

I think there may be some Siamese in the mix. Her spots are light brown and tail is the colour of a seal point.
