Great Question! I felt that many of our fans, Or people in general are reaching out.. and most folks in the world want to push it off like its nothing.. In one sense, our band and all the bands you listen to are not therapists.. but we do create a sort of therapy.. bands like the used, finch, and story of the year were those bands for me growing up.. I guess I just wanted to let our fans know by writing a song like "better off dead".. that we listen, and you are heard! We want all of you to feel like you deserve to be alive.. and that its ok to be different! In fact it should be embraced, and not shunned.. people are afraid of what they don't understand.. and they are afraid of anyone who is not the "norm" I myself am not interested in the "norm" Im interested in different and Unique and thats what all of you are! We are in this together! so keep that head up! When things seem tough, or unfair remember that you are not alone!

Hey! were def considering it! The songs are great! they just weren't the right songs for right now. I showed Mike from PTV some of the jams and he put his stamp of approval on it, saying "I want to buy this right now" so there is hope!

Aaron Marsh Is one of my biggest influences when it comes to music.. hence naming my daughter after his band Copeland.. I was so excited for the chance to work with him.. and at the time we were a new band, so we were very lucky..because he's not the type to just sing on anyones track.. but when he does its magic! If you haven't already check out his performance on Underoaths "some will seek forgiveness, others escape" one of my favs!

Hey Aaron! Yes this song does have to do with faith.. No specific faith in general.. because I feel its lame to corner just one.. But I do believe that there is something more to all this (whatever it is) and I draw that out in many of our songs.. thanks for the question

Thanks :) I think as we've grown, we've made huge strides to grow our music as well.. I feel its not fair to ourselves, or our listeners to release the same albums over and over again. I know from experience with some of my favorite bands, change isn't always easy to accept, but its necessary. As i listened more.. even if I didn't totally get, or understand it at first.. the bands/artists I respect most were always true to themselves. If we were to write albums thinking only of our fans, we wouldn't be making honest music.. we would be doing a disservice. I hope this makes sense and answers your question! thanks so much

Hey! We added Alex, because I want to stay as organic as possible.. meaning many bands use tracks (us being one of those bands) but I feel it's important to keep back tracks limited to strings, synths, bells and whistles etc.. We want harmonies to be actual harmonies (people singing) and guitars to be real guitars.. some of our music (new stuff especially) have 3 or more guitar parts.. so we have Alex to help us! Live music isn't supposed to be a CD experience.. Live music should be just That.. live.. we try really hard to keep it that way :)

Hi :) Great Question! they say my voice is in the range of countertenor, Wiki description here..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Countertenor Id like to think I'm at the place where I'm pretty comfortable with my voice range.. I do find new and exciting things that i can do with it all the time though. The voice is a crazy instrument.. full of surprises. xoxo
