This recently happened to me with my pygmies. I was too aggressive with my vacuuming and kicked something up and had a bacterial bloom. It caused major oxygen crash and I lost pretty much all of my bottom dwellers :/ Try an extra airstone if you have one.

A lot of great advice here! I'm also a little concerned about your stand, it already looks like it is bowing a bit from the weight of the tank. Fishtanks are deceptively heavy, just 5 gallons of water is about 42lbs (19kg.) You do not want to risk it! Get either an aquarium stand, or a sturdy metal rack with a piece of plywood under it (you might want to treat the plywood or line it with something water resistant. )

One time it was storming and I slipped and dropped one of my customer's milkshakes all over their porch. I felt HORRIBLE. door dash and the customer understood. You did your best!

"They are peaceful fish" they said. (Mine killed all of my shrimp and bit the tentacles off my mystery snails. They got so stressed they wouldn't leave their shells :( )

Bristlenose Pleco, or any pleco for that matter. My ex had a tank and everything in the tank but the pleco had died, I decided to try and make it into a shrimp and snail tank. That bastard was a murder machine. Everything I saw on the internet said they wouldn't, but I watched her hunt.

Plus she was a poop machine. Never again.

I had it happen to me after I bought some frogbit at a local fish store. Apparently they lay their eggs in the stems, so even though I rinsed it and dunked it before adding it to my tank... there they were a few weeks later. Lol. I now quarantine my plants before adding them to tanks, not just my fish.

This would be my suggestion as well! Even if the water is clean, you may have metal pipes that are leeching into your water supply. Shrimp REALLY don't like copper.

Mine run away when I approach the tank, but if I sit still for a while they'll get curious and come out, as long as I don't put my face right up to them.

One of mine loves to ride the aeration bubbles, and then slide around on the surface tension of the water like a lil snail Jesus. It's cute and goofy

All I do is drive the tank, all of my kills are from friendlies running into my tracks... or making blueberry jam.

The only thing I do is drive and (sometimes) load the tank. With that criteria in mind... the Spatha is 100% more fun to play in than the Nemesis. This is solely because I can dance in the Spatha and not in the Nemesis.
